Tucker Carlson Goes Full Alex Jones: Suggests Biden is Putting Chemicals in the Milk to ‘Turn Kids Trans’

Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson is off on another really weird tangent after suggesting earlier this year that men should tan their…well, you know. If I say the actual word, the Facebook gods will slap me upside the head, so please dear readers, use your imaginations. Carlson somehow came up with the cockamamie notion that doing this will somehow increase men’s testosterone levels.

While that suggestion also sounds like an advertisement for skin cancer, he has now come up with an even crazier idea: suggesting that a farm that’s been slugging it out with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) since 2016 could solve the ongoing problem by pouring “more chemicals in the milk that turns kids trans.”

Is this guy trying to become the next Alex Jones?

Carlson was talking about Amish farmer Amos Miller, who has serious legal issues that began during the Obama administration. This allegedly involves the sale of unpasteurized milk and uninspected meat and poultry, according to LGBTQNation. Miller now owes more than $300,000 in fines and is no longer selling meat due to allegedly violating food safety laws.

So Carlson lent the farmer a sympathetic ear and said “they’re against anything that’s strong and wholesome and edifying and that makes you stronger and healthier, and are in favor of anything that diminishes you and makes you more dependent?”

Then it seemed like Carlson was channeling Jones. He blamed the Biden administration, which he claims is attacking Miller because “food without endocrine-disrupting chemicals must be eliminated immediately. Then he went on to say that the FDA and the U.S. Department of Agriculture are going after Miller’s farm because of the apparent lack of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in the food. Even though GMOs aren’t even part of the investigation.

Carlson’s guest was Jeffrey Loffredo, of the far-right website Rebel News. Loffredo claimed that Miller doesn’t use any gasoline or fertilizer.” He then said these two items “have become very expensive because of [President Joe] Biden’s policies in regards to the war in Ukraine and Russia” and that the Biden administration is “coming after him (Miller) for it.”

“Maybe if he promises to put more chemicals in the milk that turns kids trans, they’ll lay off,” Carlson said. You might think he was joking but he said this with a completely straight face.

But there’s nothing new in right-wingdom about this. The idea that food additives and other chemicals are making men and other male animals LGBTQ has been a right-wing talking point for years.

Perhaps you remember Alex Jones and his gay frogs. In 2017 he infamously said that most frogs in the U.S. had become gay thanks to “chemicals in the food and water.”

“Proof! Gay frogs are real! Due to the clips of me talking about it…they’re admitting that the majority of frogs in most areas of the United States are now gay,” Jones said. “They don’t choose females, they go over to the male and then they go and live together.”

Somehow Jones never mentions who “they” are—the people who are admitting there’s an onslaught of gay frogs. Funny how that works, isn’t it?

But Jones fails to stop there and goes all Aldous Huxley on us.

“And then you read Brave New World, written in 1932 and he says that’s the plan. They’re putting chemicals in the food and water and you look at men and women and you can’t tell what’s what most of the time!”

If Jones is supposedly having a difficult time with this now, it’s just as well that he didn’t grow up in the hippie generation as I did. Because believe me he’d have a much more difficult time if he did.

And Carlson, of course, has been all panicky this year over men’s plummeting testosterone levels, causing him to release a documentary called The End of Men.

But as Healthy Male, an Australian website notes, Carlson’s idea of sunning one’s maleness is little more than bunk.

“U.S. news presenter Tucker Carlson has a new TV show coming and in the lead-up has been promoting scrotal illumination as a cure for the decline of masculinity. It’s yet another episode in the seemingly unending saga of celebrities sensationalizing non-existent problems to sell snake oil.”

And that’s all Carlson is doing. He’s becoming another Alex Jones and should be taken about as seriously.
