Kyle Rittenhouse is Trending Because He Has a Girlfriend Now and Twitter Has Some Thoughts

On 9-11, we were attacked by international terrorists that hated the American government and 95% of Americans due to our foreign policy, meddling in the Middle East, and to a lesser extent, our modernity. Today we remember those who perished that day, most of them first responders, giving their lives to save others. (Which makes the failure to take care of them with the chronic diseases that much more unforgivable.)

And yet, on 9-11, for reasons passing understanding – other than him whining again – we have a reminder that our current biggest terrorist threat is domestic terrorism. Domestic terrorism is complicated but comes primarily from the Right. It often starts either with an unjustified shooting by terrorists in blue. It can lead to some violence (Most BLM protests were peaceful and done during the day, at night, there were anarchists, provocateurs, and younger, angrier Black Americans, and then there are the terrorists like Kyle Rittenhouse, the prototype of the white nationalist who drove two states looking for a reason to be violent. That Rittenhouse shot and killed two white men is of no issue regarding his racism. He came looking to defend property by threatening violence over what he expected to be a predominantly black protest.

After making the rounds in every single white MAGA forum available, he was celebrated as a hero just like Ashli Babbit is celebrated as a hero (she was also trending briefly). The reason that domestic terrorism is a problem coming from the Right is that so many are looking for reasons to justify violence that they desperately want to unleash against liberals of all colors.

We have to be a bit careful because even though all MAGAs represent a threat to democracy, not all MAGAs would be violent against fellow Americans. That percentage is likely a minority. But it’s a significant enough minority that violence can be expected.

So it’s more than a little sickening to hear Kyle Rittenhouse, hero to these people who desperately want to be violent, complain again that the media won’t allow him to have a normal life, after he used right-wing media to milk every bit of celebrity and money he could get. On 9-11, no less, Rittenhouse was tossed around as a hero against terrorism.

It is hard to tell if this is what set things off:

But come on, no one wants to see this:

She’s cute, I doubt she’s with him for his looks, as in some of her TikToks she brags about dates at Mar-a-Lago.

And he is all over her Instagram and it’s just painful to watch. It’s so obvious why she’s with him and he’s not smart enough to understand. But he’s a teenaged boy so he probably doesn’t care.

There are even TikToks of Kyle’s girlfriend with his sister, or her “sister-in-law”:

@skylerbergoon1 i love u @Faith Kristine ♬ Hit chu wit da blick – solvvrr broke again

This does sound kind of funny (Below):

And on and on.
