Proud Boy Nazi Sympathizer — Already Charged in Capitol Riot — Charged with Buying $50,000 in Guns

These are the people who are really dangerous. Hatchet Speed had all the ingredients to be a one-man lone-wolf asymmetric warfare machine. He was a reservist in the Navy, had top secret security clearances because he worked in Naval intelligence, he respected the Unibomber and Hitler, and he had one hell of a lot of guns, $50,000 worth of guns. He also knew how to use them.

He attacked the government once already as a Proud Boy on January 6th. Now, he’s been arrested for having all those guns (unregistered), and one would really like to think that the FBI had an eye on him precisely because he was so dangerous.

From the Washington Post: (Linked Below)

A Navy reservist has been indicted in Virginia on charges of possessing unregistered firearms months after authorities in D.C. charged him with breaching the Capitol with the Proud Boys extremist group during the Jan. 6, 2021, attack.

Hatchet M. Speed has been described by federal prosecutors as a heavily armed Nazi sympathizer with a top-level U.S. government security clearance. Speed until recently worked with a U.S. defense and intelligence cyberoperations contractor based in Vienna, Va., but resigned as he delved deeper into fringe ideologies, authorities said.

The FBI said Speed in private praised Eric Rudolph, the 1996 Centennial Olympic Park bomber in Atlanta, and also “Unabomber” Ted Kaczynski and Adolf Hitler, whom he called “one of the best people that’s ever been on this Earth.”

It is terrifying to realize that so many of the Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, 3%ers, etc. have military or law enforcement training and backgrounds.
