From the Washington Post, we have an update so everyone has the latest developments of Kanye’s disgraceful anti-Semitism. “Ye,” is the Twitter handle for Kanye and a new “name” he’s taken on:

Though the tweet is no longer visible on his account, screenshots shared widely on social media show that Ye had said he would go “death con 3” on “JEWISH PEOPLE,” an apparent reference to Defcon, the U.S. military defense readiness system. In the tweet, he used antisemitic tropes and said he could not be antisemitic “because black people are actually Jew also.”

And so now, guess who is jumping in to defend Kanye? Yes, the far right, Qanon, MAGA-types, including Candace Owens:

And from Media Matters, a thorough review of the dangerous anti-Semitic “playground.”

Infowars celebrated West multiple times on October 9. Host Owen Shroyer said, “I did not hear one thing Kanye West said that was bigoted.” He later added that the backlash to his antisemitic remarks “only proves what he’s talking about is real.”

White nationalist and Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes posted on Telegram, “​​Kanye is going to be cancelled by the Jews for saying that the Jews invented cancel culture” and shared multiple memes celebrating the rapper.

Antisemite and Gab founder Andrew Torba posted, “How do we get Kanye on Gab?” Neo-Nazi blog The Daily Stormer published a story by neo-Nazi founder Andrew Anglin with the headline “Lying Jew Media Claims Kanye West is Mentally Ill for Going Death Con 3 on Jewish People.”

And back to the Washington Post for a summation of how social media is aligning now. After getting kicked off Instagram (Owned by FB), Kanye tweeted:

After Ye was restricted by Instagram, he took to Twitter, in a tweet still visible on the platform, to criticize Mark Zuckerberg, the chief executive of Meta, writing: “Look at this Mark. How you gone kick me off instagram,” along with a photo of the two together in a group.

And guess who jumped in to support Kanye? Yes, the long-rumored closeted racist Elon Musk:

Elon Musk, the chief executive…. responded to his tweet about Zuckerberg, writing: “Welcome back to Twitter, my friend!”

Yes, let’s all celebrate. It really does show that this is becoming increasingly “out” and acceptable on the MAGA right. Musk is brilliant (and an ass), and he knows what he’s doing by jumping in now. He knows he’s winking at those folks on the far right, aka fascist Nazis.

Here is one thing that we ALL know. Kanye has talked openly about being bipolar. Good. Mental health needs more openness and discussion. The stigma needs to be gone entirely. But while bipolar disease can affect behavior and thinking, it doesn’t impact one’s values with respect to racism and anti-Semitism. We will give Kanye a lot of leeway in talking about behaviors aggravated by mental illness, but he gets zero with this.

He certainly does have enough supporters among a certain set of society.
