Mike Huckabee: MAGAs Don’t Respond to Polling Because They Fear the FBI May Arrest and ‘Haul Them In’

If one wanted to teach a course on the roots of autocracy or fascism, it would be hard to do better than just covering what’s happening with the MAGAs here in real-time. Fascism cannot arise unless the leaders of the fascist movement convince their [minority] band of followers that they’re utterly oppressed by the current democratic form of government. The current government must be seen as persecuting the movement. And so it happens, unapologetically, without any facts sustaining the accusation, only grievance with an eye toward a future with unending power. Mike Huckabee has been at this stage for a while and offered up another shockingly dangerous accusation to explain why MAGA pols are not doing as well in the polls as expected. It has nothing to do with Trump ruining anything.: VIDEO BELOW

“I honestly think Republicans are gonna have a much better night than anybody predicts largely because the polling information is simply unreliable. And there’s a reason that it’s unreliable.

“Right now if you’re pro-life, if you’re Christian, if you’re a conservative, if you are a MAGA Republican, which means you just think that America’s a great country and we ought to preserve it and protect it and pass it on that way.

They are the only ones who want to protect and pass on a great country. Democrats obviously want it torn apart. Gaslighting. Another element of a fascist takeover.

“If you’re one of those people, you’re kind of thinking that any given day the FBI may show up, bang your door down, and haul you in.

He cannot name a single incident in which the FBI  hauled in someone due to answering a poll because it’s an absurd assertion and one that is based on persecution.

“If not, they may put you on a list, call you a domestic terrorist, a threat to democracy. So, conservatives simply don’t answer polls.

Ah, how convenient.

“So, I think we’re seeing something that really can’t be factored in.”

We are not seeing it because it’s not real and, thus, very hard to factor in because it throws off the polls.

This is good for an entire chapter as is self-evident to the reader.
