This morning, Axios, Mediaite, and the Daily Beast are all reporting on the fact that Trump had Kanye West over to dinner at Mar-a-Lago Tuesday night. Except that Kanye “Ye” didn’t come alone. No, somehow Ye, a black man, has found enough in common with anti-Semite Nick Fuentes to get over Fuentes’s equally rabid racism. The two of them (plus some other guy no one has identified) had dinner with Trump at Mar-a-Lago.

According to Axios:

Trump’s direct engagement with a man labeled a “white supremacist” by the Justice Department, one week after declaring his 2024 candidacy, is likely to draw renewed outrage over the former president’s embrace of extremists.

Fuentes, who frequently promotes racist and anti-Semitic conspiracy theories, had been spotted with Ye at Mar-a-Lago, but reports erroneously suggested he did not have dinner with the former president.

Ye claims in the video that Trump was “really impressed” with Fuentes because “unlike so many of the lawyers and so many people that he was left with on his 2020 campaign, he’s actually a loyalist.”

Trump knows this is trouble, and hours after the reports surfaced, Trump posted to this Truth Social account that, yes, he had dinner with Ye and a couple of guys he didn’t know and still knows nothing about. Obviously, there was nothing to talk about during dinner.

This past week, Kanye West called me to have dinner at Mar-a-Lago. Shortly thereafter, he unexpectedly showed up with three of his friends, whom I knew nothing about. We had dinner on Tuesday evening with many members present on the back patio. The dinner was quick and uneventful. They then left for the airport.

Right. And everyone on Twitter believes Trump.
