Kimberly Guilfoyle Just Can’t Get Over Her Ex-Husband Gavin Newsom and It’s Really Quite Sad

Donald Trump Jr.’s fiancée Kimberly took a swipe at her ex-husband, California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) during a speech at Turning Point USA’s “AmericaFest” last weekend. The twice-divorced Guilfoyle, 53, attacked California’s recent decision to phase out gasoline-powered vehicles by 2035 and blasted her ex’s political future, Queerty reports.

“In California, they have vowed to get rid of gas-powered cars with no explanation of how they are going to fund and power alternatives. A bunch of winners over there, folks,” Guilfoyle said, obviously mocking her ex, and adding, “He ain’t making it to the White House!”

Newsom is considered by some to be a possible replacement for President Joe Biden if he declines to run again, but it’s reported that the 55-year-old governor has said he has no intentions of running in 2024. Queerty suggests 2028 may be another story.

Guilfoyle and Newsom were married in 2001, but the marriage was brief, to say the least. The couple jointly filed for divorce in 2005, citing “difficulties due to their careers on opposite coasts.” Their divorce was granted officially in 2006.

Newsom has successfully climbed California’s political ladder, serving as San Francisco’s mayor, and then Lt. Governor. As he’s now California’s governor, one can safely assume he may have a good shot at becoming president whether Guilfoyle thinks so or not. Guilfoyle, for her part, did a short stint as a Fox News host who subsequently turned into a MAGA nutter and became engaged to Junior one week before the January 6 insurrection.

In an October interview with MSNBC’s Alex Wagner, Newsom was asked if he kept in contact with his now-extremist ex-wife, and he responded, “Nope. Not lately.” Wagner surmised that Guilfoyle’s connections to the Trump family “must be weird” for him, and Newsom responded, “Yeah, of course.”

“I mean, we had an interesting, not as combative relationship,” Newsom said. “Even though we went at it on a lot of issues, we also found ways to get along.”

But Guilfoyle seems to have turned herself into a devoted maid/mom as opposed to a fiancée/wife, Queerty notes, citing a recent interview she did with Metropolitan Palm Beach magazine.

Well, hey, if she wants to be a Stepford Wife that’s her decision. Guilfoyle is well-suited for the role, after all.

She turns all gushy and says she’s completely in love with Don Jr. and added that they have a very “traditional” relationship.

“I love taking care of Don, the way I saw my mother lovingly take care of my father,” Guilfoyle said. “I go out of my way to make sure he has everything he needs—making coffee in the morning, cooking our favorite meals, doing our family’s laundry, and caring for our home.”

“Don loves that I am traditional and yet fiercely independent,” she explained. “We are partners in this incredible journey they call life, and I totally love it!”

That reminds me that there was a remake of The Stepford Wives. It was just as fun to watch as the original.

I wonder if Kimberly has seen it?
