Marjorie Taylor Greene Declares War on ‘Perverted’ Walmart, Accuses Then of ‘Grooming’ Kids
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has re-ignited her war with Walmart for selling sex toys, taking to Twitter Saturday, where she posted a photo that purportedly showed said toys next to children’s toothbrushes.
@Walmart many of your customers in my district are reaching out to me about sex toys being sold in your Dalton store,” she tweeted. “They’re extremely upset and absolutely horrified that sex toys are being sold openly right next to children’s toothbrushes! This is grooming.”

She followed that up by tweeting, according to Queerty:
“Selling sex toys openly where children are exposed to them is wrong, inappropriate, immoral, indecent, perverted, shameful, and incredibly harmful to children. Why is Walmart participating in the grooming and sexualization of children? Is this in all stores or just Dalton?”

“I can not comprehend how we got to a place where people think they have the right to force sexual adult issues on children. You do not have that right. Because no matter how hard you try to twist your perverse ideas into reasons any of this nastiness is ok, you are WRONG.”

Admittedly, if the photos aren’t photoshopped, whoever placed these items together could have used better judgment but Greene’s a bit over the top here.
At any rate, she wrapped things up with this tweet:
“On behalf of my district, I am demanding @Walmart resolve this issue immediately. I sincerely hope this is not common product placement in your stores and that the employees responsible will be reprimanded. I do not believe this repulsive grooming represents Walmart.”

Perhaps Marjorie is just venting since her 27-year marriage ended after her husband Perry Greene filed for divorce.
After all, anger and pain have to go somewhere, and perhaps Greene’s dance card has been empty lately.
It’s not the first time we’ve heard this fury from her either. Last weekend, at a Young Republicans Gala in New York City, she had this to say to the audience, “By the way, you can pick up a butt plug or a d*ldo at Target and CVS nowadays. I don’t even know how we got here. …This is the state that we’re living in right now.”
It’s anyone’s guess why Greene is all fired up over this right now. Maybe Tucker Carlson’s brief segment on his December 9th Fox News show, got her all stirred up. On that program, he reported on CVS selling adult toys and Queerty reports other right-wingers have jumped on the morally upset bandwagon.
Their outrage is a bit late when you consider the fact that Walmart began selling these toys in 2018, with Target following suit in 2019.
Of course, some on Twitter are now speculating as to how accurate Greene’s claims are.
Is this supposed to be the Walmart on E Walnut Ave? If so, then your pic is photoshopped. Here I attached a picture taken of this shelf a few hours earlier by a staffer, posted to their FB page. You can see a metal grate and purple in the bottom left. Nonexistent in your photo. pic.twitter.com/OP38CA4nO8

This was blatantly moved to a poor location to cause drama where no drama exists. These devices are typically near pharmacy, by the condoms

Some suggested there were more important issues Greene should concern herself with.
But not concerned about the guns in next isle? pic.twitter.com/AZLV0NfUzV

Don't Walmart sell guns as well?

Others couldn’t help lampooning her:
Marge is struggling for attention.
