Roseanne Barr’s Bitter New Fox ‘Comedy Special’ Is Just as Disgusting as You’d Think
It’s been more than 15 years since Roseanne Barr did a comedy special and it’s creating a stir online for some of her disgusting anti-transgender. Frankly, the scorn is well deserved and she should have sat this one out rather than spewing more hate in a world that already has too much of it.
Roseanne Barr: Cancel This! premieres Monday on FoxNation (where else?) and the former Domestic Goddess has fully metamorphosed into a MAGA icon, LGBTQNation reports. The clips that have been released so far suggest she’s aiming her remarks at Fox’s target demographic: older people whose children no longer talk to them.
The jokes are harsh and flat as warm beer.
According to Barr, kids today ‘have no concept of reality! They’ve been living in a bubble forever! Asking questions that have nothing to do with the real world: what is my gender, Mom? What is my gender? Your gender is ‘Get a job,’ that’s your gender!”
It makes me wonder if Barr ever wondered about anything when she was young. She may or may not have had questions about her own sexuality or gender, but this is a time when many teens ask a lot of the bigger questions. I was confused as a teen and had questions, and teens should be encouraged to ask themselves and others the questions they need to ask as they become adults.

But Barr sticks with blunt jokes, many of which are right-wing talking points.
“‘What is a woman?’ They don’t know that? That one they’re asking all the time,” Barr said, even though conservatives are mainly the ones who have asking this question for years. “I’ll tell you what a woman is. A woman is MEEEEE!”
“A woman is someone who cleans up everybody else’s s**t! That’s what a woman is!”
“A woman is somebody whose boobs hang down to her knees with a prolapsed uterus from giving birth to five ungrateful little privilige f**ks who’ve never had to work for anything in their whole damn lives!”
“My pronouns are kiss/my/ass!”

Barr gained fame as the title character in the classic 80s sitcom Roseanne and which centered around the lives of her working-class family. The show was revived again in 2018 but it wasn’t long before she was fired after making racist statements about Valerie Jarrett, a former advisor to Barack Obama.
Barr has resurfaced as a MAGA mouthpiece and regularly attacks liberals, and is, of course, a supporter of Donald Trump and has even gone as far as saying she “appreciated” Kanye West’s anti-Semitic tweets.
And of course, she went on Tucker Carlson Tonight to promote her special to bash liberals, calling them “fascist and Nazi, they do experiments on captive populations. No different and it’s disgusting. And we’re supposed to see that as progressive? It’s anything but.”
It’s anyone’s guess as to what she was talking about. Conservatives are the ones who compare gender-affirming care, COVID-19 vaccines, mask mandates, learning about the racist history of the U.S., and anything else Democrats support to Nazism and fascism.
The clip below makes it clear that she’s still pissed about being fired after calling Jarrett “Muslim brotherhood and Planet of The Apes.”

And Twitter weighed in on her “comedy” special. As I said, Barr should have sat this one out.

Did she forget to bring the jokes?

Sounds like an angry Karen.

I don’t understand. Why did you say “comedian?” Did you accidentally post the wrong clip?
— PARTY PUPILS (@PartyPupils) February 11, 2023
WOW wasn't she kind of funny once upon a time? I've seen wood chipper accidents that are funnier. You think you did something by showing how far she has fallen? That's just mean.

The Roseanne standup deeply pathetic.
Even for a burnt-out Q Anon paranoid lunatic, it’s got zero energy. You can tell that even the audience is disappointed.
“‘Mom, what are my pronouns?’ Your pronouns are: Get a job!”
It got, like, two chuckles, and that was the promo clip!

OG Roseanne was a very important show to me and this sucks. Besides anything else this is deeply embarrassing on a comedy level – getting on stage to repeat the one joke these people have, a joke every normie terf idiot has already said millions of times. Pathetic https://t.co/TO2OQM1rZW
