Fox’s Brian Kilmeade Breaks into Hysterical Laughter Over the Most Recent Stupid Thing Trump Said

Fox News’s Brian Kilmeade had a good laugh over Donald Trump’s claim that the attempted siege of the Capitol building by his supporters was Mike Pence’s fault.

Earlier Tuesday, Kilmeade and his other Fox & Friends co-hosts were discussing Trump’s campaign speech in Iowa, Mediaite reports. As is typical for Trump, he attacked his political foes, including a few notable Republicans. Kilmeade also added that Pence was on hand at the annual Gridiron Club Dinner last weekend, where he declared “history will hold Donald Trump accountable” for the attack on the Capitol.

Trump fired back on Monday, blaming the former vice president for the riot because he refused to follow his orders to violate the Constitution and reject the certification of Joe Biden as president. However, the Fox & Friends panel failed to mention that Trump’s anger fired up his supporters so much that they began chanting “Hang Mike Pence” as they surged into Congress.

Kilmeade, however, found it funny that Trump is blaming Pence for what happened.

“You cannot blame Mike Pence for what happened on January 6th,” Kilmeade laughed.

“Well, Donald Trump did yesterday,” Steve Doocy replied flatly.

On Monday following his speech in Iowa, Trump placed the blame squarely on Pence, telling reporters:

“Had he sent the votes back to the legislatures, they wouldn’t have had a problem with Jan. 6, so in many ways, you can blame him for Jan. 6,” Trump said, per The Washington Post. “Had he sent them back to Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, the states, I believe, number one, you have had a different outcome. But I also believe you wouldn’t have had ‘Jan. 6,’ as we call it.”

Well maybe not, but what you would have is a clear violation of U.S. Constitutional law.

And for the record, Trump has actually defended the supporters who chanted “Hang Mike Pence” and has allegedly said Pence “deserved it.”

No matter how you feel about Pence (he’s probably as dangerous for the U.S. as Trump was, believe me) he still did the right thing here. And so did Kilmeade. For once.
