Melania Trump Is Reportedly Living in a Delusional State at Mar-a-Lago Where Her Husband Has Done Nothing Wrong

As her husband awaits a potential indictment over the alleged hush money he paid to adult film actress Stormy Daniels in 2016, Melania Trump is happily keeping her own private space at Mar-a-Lago. And she’s not the least bit interested in discussing the drama surrounding the case.

Sources say the 52-year-old former first lady is keeping up with her everyday life at her Palm Beach residence despite the legal issues her husband, Donald Trump, 76, is up against, People reports.

“Melania is leading her own life, and still feels happy being at Mar-a-Lago, surrounded by people who love her and who never talk about reality, or bad things about her husband,” one source told People.

And the last thing she wants to hear about is her husband’s rumored affair and alleged $130,000 hush money payment. Daniels has claimed the tryst occurred less than four months after Melania gave birth to Barron, the couple’s son in 2006. But Melania is just DONE with hearing about this.

“She remains angry and doesn’t want to hear [the alleged hush money payment] mentioned,” the source told People. “She is aware of who her husband is and keeps her life upbeat with her own family and a few close friends.”

The couple also maintains separate living quarters at their Mar-a-Lago home but are frequently spotted eating dinner together and attending events at the private club.

“She does very well with all of her socialize duties,” the source added. “They still see friends for dinner at the club, but live separately and do what they want on their own. They don’t spend much time together.”

While Melania puts up a good front, the former first lady has been upset by the Stormy Daniels allegations ever since 2018 when the Wall Street Journal broke the story that Trump had arranged the $130,000 to buy her silence about the affair one month before the 2016 election.

Trump and his then-lawyer Michael Cohen initially denied the allegations of an affair, but Cohen later said a payment had been made to the p*rn star.

Cohen described it as a “private transaction and told The New York Times that he paid Daniels the $130,000 out-of-pocket. Trump has since acknowledged the payment but continues to deny the affair with Daniels or that the payment was connected to his campaign in any way.

And as Trump seeks another term as president, the grand jury investigation into the payment continues, this has even led the former president to publicly speculate this will result in his arrest and indictment (although at this point it’s unclear if this will happen).

As for Melania, she “wants to ignore it and hopes it will pass, but she doesn’t sympathize with Donald’s plight,” the source told People, adding that she really prefers to spend time with her family — especially her mom and dad, who live at Mar-a-Lago, and her son Barron, who recently turned 17.

“Barron is a sweet boy who has a loving family around him,” the person said. “He is older now and handsome. His mom is protective of him but he is free around Mar-a-Lago. They are low-key with their socializing.”

The source also said it’s likely the family celebrated Barron’s birthday with a dinner, despite the fact that his father is bracing for the grand jury indictment decision. “They would not skip his birthday over legal issues.”

As it stands now, Joe Tacopina, Trump’s lawyer, says the former president will surrender to face criminal charges if he is indicted.

But if this happens, Melania will be just fine, another source told People.

“Melania loves the beautiful weather and resort town atmosphere of Palm Beach,” the source said. “She is happy when she is in Palm Beach. She has her son and other close family members. They are tribe-like and usually stick together. Despite what happens to Donald, she will be fine. She is well taken care of.”

Melania might be grifty, and she may not get on well with Trump’s older children, but she’s managed to be resilient. Of course there’s probably a whole bunch of money behind this, but really, the legal mess is Donald Trump’s creation, so I don’t think she’s wrong in maintaining the “his circus, his monkeys” attitude.
