New Right-Wing, ‘Anti-Woke’ Beer Created After Bud Light Controversy Loses Brewery Deal Over Disgusting Marketing Plan

Remember that anti-woke “Ultra Right” beer that was created in response to Bud Light partnering with transgender influencer and activist Dylan Mulvaney, thus causing right-wingers everywhere to lose their minds?

Well, that beer, created by ultra right-winger Seth Weathers has hit a huge stumbling block. A stumbling block in the form of losing its production deal with an Illinois brewing company, Newsweek reports.

Talking to Newsweek earlier Friday, Nick Bowes, the President of Bent River Brewing Company, said they were referred as a possible contract brewer for the “Ultra Right” beer, and when his company found out what this beer was promoted, everyone was turned off. Massively.

“Once we saw the marketing for it, we declined to produce it,” Bowes said.

Weathers, who served as the director of Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign, concocted the beer earlier this month as a response to Bud Light’s decision to partner with Mulvaney. She posted several videos to her Instagram account, promoting her partnership with Bud Light, including one video where she shows a customized Bud Light with her face on it. Mulvaney has millions of followers on TikTok, where she has a popular video series documenting her transition over the past 365 days.

And right-wingers went bazinga over the partnership, spurring a torrent of criticism and calls to boycott Bud Light and its parent company, Anheuser-Busch. Musician Kid Rock, who loves him some Donald Trump he does, posted a video on social media where he’s seen shooting cans of Bud Light.

The fight over transgender brand ambassadors has intensified as the debate over the inclusion of transgender women in female issues and spaces continues to grow. Some people contend that trans women should be treated the same as other women. But others object, saying transgender women are different and that hard-fought women’s rights need to be protected.

Weathers introduced his “Ultra Right” beer in a video advertisement where he says “America’s been drinking beer from a company that doesn’t even know which restroom to use.”

“That’s why I created conservative dad’s Ultra Right 100% woke free beer. As conservatives, we’re constantly getting hit in the face, left and right, by the woke mind virus, but the last place we want it, is in our beer,” Weathers says in the video. “If you know which bathroom to use, you know what beer you should be drinking. Stop giving money to woke corporations that hate our values.”

While the Bent River Brewing Company won’t touch this beer with a ten-foot pole, the “Ultra Right’s” website still claims that it’s being brewed and canned in Northern Illinois. And Weathers mocked a report by The Daily Beast noting the brewing company won’t be producing this beer by posting “lol this will age poorly” on Twitter.

Like so many spiteful right-wingers before him, Weathers tends to have problems with basic grammar, which is especially clear when you read his email to Newsweek that he sent Friday.

“LOL. The left us [sic] so desperate for us to fail. We’re releasing a video on Monday at the brewery announcing our local owned brew partner. Sorry to disappoint the haters!”

Weathers also sells products aimed at conservative clients, including “Let’s Go Brandon!” merchandise. That, of course, is a political jibe used to mock President Joe Biden. The kind of juvenile nonsense one expects from extremist right-wingers, of course. Because that’s the level these people are at.

The brouhaha targeting Mulvaney prompted Anheuser-Busch CEO Brendan Whitworth to issue a statement that says the company “never intended to be part of a discussion that divides people.”

“My time serving this country taught me the importance of accountability and the values upon which America was founded: freedom, hard work and respect for one another. As CEO of Anheuser-Busch, I am focused on building and protecting our remarkable history and heritage,” he wrote.

But America has always been by the wealthy, for the wealthy, and of the wealthy. This country has a racist history that right-wingers want to sweep under the rug and many who consider themselves so-called “patriots” have rarely shown respect toward people of color. The country was forged on the massive slaughter of indigenous Americans and the torment of innocent Blacks, so I find Whitworth’s statement almost as offensive as Weather’s dumb beer.

And here’s his equally dumb video below.
