While some family members were on hand for Donald Trump’s speech Tuesday at Mar-a-Lago following his arrest and arraignment, some key members were absent: His wife Melania, eldest daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner. Perhaps Tiffany Trump, the usually ignored Trump daughter saw this as her chance to get in dear old dad’s good graces because she was right there in the front row, New York Magazine’s Intelligencer reports.

But Ivanka wasn’t snubbing her father if you can believe the New York Post’s “Ivanka sources,” per the Intelligencer. Page Six reports Ivanka, after her now-infamous noncommital statement on her father’s indictment, somehow managed to visit Mar-a-Lago Sunday, and then leave without being seen.

In her decisively middle-of-the-road statement on Instagram, Ivanka said:

“I love my father, and I love my country. Today, I am pained for both. I appreciate the voices across the political spectrum expressing support and concern.”

And according to Page Six:

“The move to visit her father marked a seeming display of support for him privately — after she’d previously distanced herself from his latest White House campaign.”

“Ivanka, 41, managed to visit the club without being photographed.”

That was quite a stunt she pulled off, considering all the news media that’s probably hovering around.

While Ivanka likely doesn’t want any photographic evidence that she’s associating with her dad, one source in her orbit gave the Post one explanation for her not showing up at her dad’s speech.

“However, his eldest daughter Ivanka and her husband, who were his top White House advisers, were in Wyoming to celebrate Passover — a trip they’ve made in past years — as the Jewish holiday begins Wednesday, a source told The Post.”

And it seems that whatever support Ivanka has shown, it’s fine for dear old Dad. He gave a shout-out to all of his kids, including Ivanka and Barron, saying his youngest son “will be great some day,” and adding “he’s tall and he’s smart.” One notable family member was NOT mentioned: Melania.

It’s anyone’s guess as to why he left her out but there are rumors all over the place that she’s angry all over again about his alleged fling with Stormy Daniels.

Undoubtedly more fur is going to fly but it’s kind of entertaining, isn’t it?
