Democratic Rep and Ex-Marine Lists THREE Mistakes Nikki Haley Made in Her ‘Mandatory’ GOP Gun Photo

As everyone knows, a Republican aspiring to public office must check off the requisite picture with an assault rifle – not “any gun” – but an assault rifle, a tool of war designed for the battlefield where one must down put as many people as possible, making it the only tool of choice for mass shooters and no it doesn’t matter if the picture comes out during a string of mass shootings, but it does matter that every detail be right.

Nikki Haley had to check off that box, fast, because she could be forced out of the race at any moment. So Haley humiliated herself by picking up what might literally be the biggest gun on the planet and quickly proceeded to make a mockery of herself and the entire process.

Any bigger weapon would be labeled a “missile.”

First of all, absolutely nothing about Haley’s personality gives any indication that she is even remotely interested in guns, which explains the second problem.

When releasing these pictures, everything must be perfect or return fire is assured, criticizing how the desperate aspiring politician handles the gun.

Guns are not a “thing” to MAGAs. They are an identity. To handle a gun wrong is akin to misunderstanding your identity.

Like any reference to one’s identity, MAGAs prefer a clear binary choice. Either you are a gun person or not.

Haley might not be a gun person. Ironically, a Democrat, Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) pointed out this all too important fact. From The Independent:

“Poser alert: Why is your finger on the trigger!”

“1. Bolt is clear back and there is no magazine. 2. The linked ammo on the stand you are ‘shooting’ from doesn’t feed into the magazine-fed weapon you have. 3. Your stockwell is gonna hurt you when that weapon kickback.”

Just for fun, here is the tweet:

Haley didn’t respond to the criticism – of course not – but she did justify having the picture taken without saying, “Well, everyone has to have one!”

Others called her out as well:

The real question is whether that model as built isn’t “just” for our military but whether it can be purchased at “Machine Gun Mac’s” store three blocks from your house, with 1500 rounds, in a hurry, by a guy speaking in tongues.

One of the most obvious symptoms of the sickness running through this nation is that after a week of follow-up mass shootings, pictures such as the one above are not only “allowed,” but near-worshipped by some.

Of course, Haley had to release the picture at some point. And in modern America, it would be almost impossible to release it without a mass shooting the week before or a week after. And it doesn’t matter anyway.

All that and she can’t even do it right. But it’s better than nothing and she got the requisite check off on the to-do list.
