Trump Is Warning His Supporters on Truth Social That a Potential ‘Disaster’ Could Be Coming His Way

Donald Trump is having a really bad day. Like, BAD bad. The jury has spoken and Trump is a sexual abuser, having lost his case against E. Jean Carroll, who is now, and will forever be, one of my heroes. And now, tomorrow night he has something else to worry about about…I’d say his plate is getting rather full, wouldn’t you?

The one-term, twice-impeached, once-indicted and now once found liable for sexual assault former president (phew, that description is getting LONG), Trump slammed CNN on Tuesday, a day ahead of his town-hall with Kaitlan Collins, one of the network’s leading anchors, in New Hampshire.

“I’ll be doing CNN tomorrow night, LIVE from the Great State of New Hampshire, because they are rightfully desperate to get those fantastic (TRUMP!) ratings once again,” Trump wrote in a social media post on Tuesday. (Always with the ratings, I swear, does this man not see the trouble he is in?)

“They made me a deal I couldn’t refuse!!! Could be the beginning of a New & Vibrant CNN, with no more Fake News, or it could turn into a disaster for all, including me. Let’s see what happens?”

CNN announced last week it would hold a town hall-style event with Trump and New Hampshire voters Wednesday, the first such event Trump has participated in for years.

The network, which experienced a boost in viewership during the 2016 presidential campaign and Trump’s presidency (because who doesn’t want to watch a train wreck…it’s human nature), has taken criticism from some Democrats and media pundits for providing Trump the massive, prime-time platform he so desperately craves. You can hear it now…regardless of the ratings, this town hall will get the best ratings of all time! Super Bowl, Schmooper Bowl, nothing can compete with Trump sitting on a stage lying as often as you and I breathe.

Somehow Trump remains the favorite to claim the Republican nomination for president, despite the fact that he was found liable for sexually assaulting Carroll and defaming her, as well as a string of recent legal troubles and ongoing investigations into his handling of classified documents, efforts to overturn the result of the 2020 election and other matters, including inciting an insurrection.

Trump’s decision to do the CNN town hall event is seen by some media pundits as a broader effort by Trump to rebuild his relationship with media outlets he has relentlessly attacked for years, and to reach out to independents since his own base has declined over the years.

People on Twitter are sickened that CNN would continue to host the town hall, especially after today’s verdict:
