Turns Out Marjorie Taylor Greene’s New Boyfriend Is Just as Repugnant and Transphobic as She Is

It’s only been a few months since her divorce was finalized, but now Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is dating fellow right-winger Brian Glenn, a journalist, and producer of the Right Side Broadcasting Network. Greene confirmed the relationship in a podcast in April.

And yes, Glenn, just like Greene, is another conservative idiot and they fit together like a hand in a glove, Queerty reports. The reason I know Glenn is a homophobic/transphobic idiot is because Monday he decided to attack basketball icon Brittney Griner, who was simply minding her own business.

“Good Morning to all the men this morning except to #BrittneyGriner (He/Him),” Glenn tweeted. “It shouldn’t surprise anyone that a man is no the face of a women’s professional basketball league. #WNBA”

As most of us already know, Griner, who is a gay cis-woman went through hell for ten months while being detained in not particularly gay-friendly Russia because a cannabis vape cartridge was found in her luggage. She was eventually released as part of a prisoner swap negotiated by Russian and U.S. officials.

Last week marked Griner’s return to the WNBA since being released from detention and her team, Phoenix Mercury played against the LA Sparks.

It’s bad enough that she suffered the stress of being detained in Russia for all those months, but now she has yap dogs like Glenn who are really little more than parasites feeding off her popularity.

So many good people on Twitter took a bit of time to respond to Glenn’s obnoxious tweet.

And some folks on Twitter remembered when Glenn played at being a drag queen. So they reminded him just in case he’d forgotten.

Greene is of course another homophobe/transphobe who had made her views clear about gender identity and has regularly attacked the rights of trans people. She’s also attacked drag queens, who are some of the kindest and most harmless people on the planet. I don’t know why Greene gets her underpants in such a knot of drag queens, who are generally not hurting anyone.

Considering she’s so bigoted, Greene wasn’t particularly bothered by Glenn’s drag performance, saying in essence “That was then, this is now.” In her marvelous unwrinkled mind that made the video okay.

“I’m literally lol’ing,” Greene tweeted. “@brianglenntv dressed in drag for morning news in Dallas years ago reporting on an upcoming local theatre production and the morons over at Patriot Takes think this is an attack. Brian loves the throwback and is reposting. 😂 The left is so stupid.”

Her detractors on Twitter took note of her hypocrisy.

Greene’s obsession with LGBTQ+ people is obnoxious and I’ll never understand the Republican fascination with people’s gender identity and sexual orientation. So many Republicans clearly have their own problems with this and I’m convinced that’s where some of their hostility comes from.
