Eric Trump Freaks Out After Trump’s Beloved Golf Course Is BLACKLISTED by British Open, ‘Trump Will Have to Sell’

Well, the hits keep coming for Donald Trump, and this is a gut punch. Seriously.

Trump said earlier this month that “everybody wants to see the Open Championship” played at his Turnberry gold resort in Scotland, which is one of his favorite most beloved courses. But, as it turns out, the organizers of the British Open don’t feel the same way.

According to The Telegraph, Trump was told after the 2021 Capitol riot that he was unlikely to get another Open held at one of his courses for the foreseeable future.

A source at R&A, the golf body that organizes the Open Championship, also known as the British Open, told The Telegraph that they haven’t changed their opinion on that decision and there will be no Open at Trump’s courses. Period. End of story.

“We have no plans to stage any of our championships there in the foreseeable future and will not return until we are convinced that the focus will be on the championship, the players and the course itself.” Another source said Trump would “have to sell” the course “before anything changes.”

Beautiful. The organizers flat out said that as long as Trump owns the course, and because Trump will make the Open all about himself, they simply will not give him that opportunity. They simply don’t want an insurrectionist hosting their storied British Open, which was founded in 1860 in St. Andrews, Scotland.

Eric Trump is now defending the course, and freaking out over R&A’s decision. Eric is the executive vice president of the Trump Organization, which bought the course in 2014, five years after the last time it staged the competition.

Eric defended his family’s record of ownership and was ready to host the Open, from the Daily Mail.

“My family is deeply committed to Scotland and has one singular focus – preserving Turnberry as the best golf course anywhere in the world,” he said.

“We have invested nearly $200 million in the property, achieved the most prestigious accolades in the world of golf and have a course which is universally considered to be the best in the Open Championship rota.

“We are incredibly proud of this historic icon and remain deeply committed to the Open Championship whenever that call is received.”

Funny, Eric seems to totally skip over all that rioting part and trying to steal an election. Funny that.

It’s really important to note just what an enormous blow this is to Donald Trump, his family and organization. Golf is Trump’s first true love. And holding the British Open was one of those things that would signal that Trump “belonged”. Trump has spent his whole life trying to “belong”. It’s why he left Queens for Manhattan. It’s why he hung out and spent time with celebrities. He always wanted to be accepted by that upper echelon of society, the true upper class. But of course these people know a tacky, new-money grifter when they see one, and not even becoming president gave Trump the esteem he so desperately craves. The rich people of Park Avenue despised Trump so much he actually had to move from the city he loves (if he says he hates NYC he’s lying) to move to Mar-a-Lago because NYC simply didn’t want him.

And luckily…the British aren’t fools. They witnessed in horror what happened on January 6th, 2021 like the rest of us, and they don’t want to have anything to do with a traitor. Especially a traitor you would make the Open all about himself. R&A simply will not give him that opportunity and good for them.

Below is the interview where Trump actually says that R&A “wants to be back” at Turnberry. All lies. Of course this is an interview with Nigel Farage who is a British MAGA and will never challenge Trump, but it’s hysterical to watch Trump brag, and to see what has happened now. Trump will never get the British Open. EVER. Only if he sells the course, and then it isn’t his. Beautiful.
