Fox News Host Just Comes Out and Admits the Truth: GOP Needs Voters to be Uneducated to Win

What is it about Republicans and education?

Just kidding, wanted to see if anyone was really paying attention. We all know what it is about Republicans and education.

They are upset by the fact that the more education people receive, the more likely they are to vote for Democrats. It must be horribly embarrassing. Indeed, they’re kind of prickly about it.

Republicans cannot just come out and say; “People who know more are more likely to vote for Democrats.” (We have to divide between intelligence and education. Some of the most intelligent people I’ve ever met never went to college and are geniuses in their area.)

Instead, they say that kids are “indoctrinated” at universities, and, in a way, I suppose they are. But it’s not “intentional political indoctrination,.” It’s nothing more than the usual maturation process that happens as one learns of a bigger world. One becomes educated about systemic problems and – though the Democrats don’t have all the answers, Republicans have none.

Jessie Watters admitted as much two nights ago on his show:

“And [Biden] knows that now the way the parties are flipped over, the more education you have, the more likely you are to vote for a Democrat, so he’s pushing all of these young people inner uni, into universities,” Fox chauvinist Jesse Watters declares. “They get brainwashed there and then he wipes their debts for votes. It’s really shameful. The Supreme Court’s gonna knock it down.”

Biden didn’t “wipe their debt for votes,” he wiped some of the debt, in part, because colleges functioned more and more as businesses, with tuition skyrocketing, while universities use more adjuncts and cut costs. Plus, university presidents and tenured professors continue to come from the baby boom generation when, believe it or not, in the 60s through 80s, it wasn’t unusual to see college presidents in their early 40s, more in line with the professors actually teaching students.

Regardless, Biden does make political moves – he’s a politician. But cutting student loans slightly was not one of them. They weren’t targeted. Indeed the Executive Order (which may not be constitutional) was targeted at some of the “conservative Bible colleges,” often online, that charged a fortune.

I suppose that’s indoctrination, too. Seeing a problem and working to fix it? That’s a Democratic thing unless one is a Fortune 500 company or worth seven figures or more.

Maybe if the Republicans helped people that weren’t rich, but actually helped them instead of inventing faux-culture wars, they’d gain some voters. They could “indoctrinate” young people with the fact that Republicans can solve problems and help them.

Plus, educated people don’t like racism, homophobia, and all that. So that’s a thing.

For now, Jesse is 100% right. The more education one receives, the more they know, the more they vote for Democrats.
