Fox News is FURIOUS With ‘The View’ For Saying Trump Probably Has a Secret Grandkid

I never thought I would agree with Fox News’s Harris Faulkner, but well, here we are. She took a swipe at The View for suggesting that Donald Trump “probably” has a secret grandkid he won’t acknowledge, just like President Joe Biden is doing.

“The liberal media has long ignored this bad look for President Biden, but the topic went viral after the scathing New York Times op-ed,” Faulkner said. “It lead with the headline, ‘It’s Seven Grandkids, Mr. President,’ and the piece didn’t sit so well with co-hosts of The View.”

Then Fox News played the tape showing The View co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Alyssa Farah Griffin, and Sara Haines saying that “Maureen Dowd should find something else to write about,” other than the controversy swirling around Hunter Biden’s little daughter, Navy Joan, who’s 4, Mediaite reports.

In the clip, we hear Goldberg, Haines, and Griffin discussing the situation.

Goldberg: When you start talking about people’s families and what they’re doing, I find it unnecessary. This is not anybody’s business. Nobody needed to know about this. This is private.

Griffin: I do feel like if it was Trump, we would talk about it, is the thing. If Trump had a grandkid he doesn’t acknowledge.

Haines: He probably does.

Each of the co-hosts has a point here, but the fact is, it’s all over the media whether anyone wants it to be or not. I don’t know why the media isn’t covering more pressing issues, like the U.S.’s upscaling problems with China or probably any one of one hundred other more pressing problems but this is the world we live in today. A world where the mainstream news media offers very little real news.

And the comment from Haines led Outnumbered co-host Faulkner to offer a quick jibe: “Wow, so classy on that show, it’s amazing.” Other Outnumbered co-hosts were heard saying, “What?” and “Oh.”

In her op-ed, Maureen Dowd laid out the essentials of the Biden controversy:

“In his 2021 memoir, Hunter wrote dismissively about Navy’s mother, Lunden Roberts, whom he met when he was spiraling into addiction and going to Washington strip clubs. He wrote that the women he had sexual encounters with during his drug ‘rampages’ were ‘hardly the dating type.'”

“‘I had no recollection of our encounter,'” he said of Roberts. Yet he put her on the payroll of his consulting firm as a personal assistant while she was pregnant. About three months after Navy was born, Hunter took away Roberts’s company health insurance.”

I agree with Faulkner that this is a “bad look” for President Biden. It’s shameful that the family, including her father, isn’t acknowledging this little girl. None of this is her fault, after all. I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if Trump has a child he’s not acknowledging, but this doesn’t absolve the Bidens for doing something that is really sad.

Of course, when Navy Joan turns 18, she can claim the Biden name but millions of people have children out of wedlock and it’s not a stigma anymore, except for people living in extremist religious groups.

Come on, Hunter Biden. Man up!
