Ivanka Trump Is Now a Part of the Hunter Biden Scandal and She Is NOT Going to Like This

Republicans continue to grab at straws while trying to incriminate Hunter Biden, and their efforts plumbed new depths Wednesday during a hearing of the House Oversight Committee when Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene showed p*rnographic images in her newest effort to defame President Joe Biden’s son.

Republicans apparently don’t know what futility means, and they continued to grill IRS agents during their investigation into Hunter Biden. This led Democrats on the Oversight Committee to set their sites on ex-president Donald Trump’s family. Especially one family member who was repeatedly hauled into the proceedings.

As Queerty notes: “Ivanka, you are now trending!”

California Rep. Robert Garcia pointed out that Hunter Biden, unlike Ivanka and Jared Kushner, doesn’t work inside the White House.

“I want to point out that no Biden family members hold government positions of any kind,” Garcia said. “This is of course in stark contrast to the Trump Crime Family.”

Garcia pointed specifically to Ivanka’s scandalous Chinese trademark adventures, wherein the Chinese government granted 16 trademarks to her fashion label three months after she announced she was shutting the label down.

The freshman rep. also brought up Kushner’s crooked business dealings, including the Qatari government’s $1.2 billion rescue of his property on Fifth Avenue, as well as Saudi Arabia’s cushy $2 billion contribution to his investment fund.

Kinda funny how Republicans seem to forget things like this unless it’s somehow connected to a Democrat.

I’m assuming it was probably disconcerting for Ivanka to hear her name continually being dragged into this. Up until now, she’s maintained a stony silence. And in New York last month, an appeals court dismissed all charges against her in the $250 million lawsuit that accuses dear old Dad’s family business of “staggering” fraud.

But while the number of indictments against Donald Trump keeps piling up—charges for his actions on January 6 look to be imminent—while in the meantime Ivanka has been having a blast at lavish destinations around the world.

But the Wednesday verbal House Republican/Democrat slugfest probably brought Ivanka out of her reverie.

And Rep. Alexandria Ocasio (D-N.Y.) used her time to ask why Ivanka dodged federal charges years ago when then-Manhattan district attorney Cyrus Vance closed his criminal probe into Donald Trump and kids.

At the time Ivanka was accused of misleading buyers of units at the Trump SoHo about sales of the units.

Well, it turns out that Donald Trump’s personal attorney handed Vance $5,000 in campaign contributions. It’s no mystery why Vance dismissed the case, now is it?

And as we know, Ivanka has put mileage between herself, her father, and the Trump name as it’s been reported she’s now using her married surname, “Kushner.” And while I’m sure her father hates this, she’s cooperating with investigators looking into Jan. 6.

While she’s put distance between herself and her family, it doesn’t erase her past actions. After all, Hunter Biden was investigated for five years and then hit with two misdemeanor tax charges and one minor gun-related charge. And if Congress ever decides to put Ivanka under the microscope, the findings could be extremely bad news for her.

And perhaps Wednesday’s congressional showdown provided her with a preview.
