Mitch McConnell Suffers Mysterious Neurological Emergency During Presser But GOP Says Biden’s Too Old and Has to Go
First and foremost, we hope that Mitch McConnell is okay. We despise the man, who happens to be one of the evilest men in American political history. But we are Democrats and not evil, so we do not wish ill-will on him, we just want his crusty old ass out of the Senate.
McConnell briefly left his own press conference on Tuesday after stopping his remarks mid-sentence and staring off into space for several seconds. It was definitely not normal. I am obviously not a neurologist, but it appeared to be a TIA or perhaps an absence seizure.
The Republican leader approached the podium for his weekly press conference and began speaking about the annual defense bill on the floor, which he said was proceeding with “good bipartisan cooperation.” But he then appeared to lose his train of thought, trailing off with a drawn-out “uh…”
He then appeared to freeze up and stared vacantly for around 20 seconds before his colleagues in Republican leadership, who were standing behind him and could not see his face, grabbed his elbows and asked if he wanted to go back to his office.
He did not answer, but slowly walked back to his office with an aide and Wyoming Sen. John Barrasso, a former orthopedic surgeon who is the No. 3 Republican in the Senate. McConnell later returned to the press conference and answered questions from the press.

Asked about what happened, McConnell said he was “fine.” He did not elaborate. But he is not FINE. And considering not a day goes past without Republicans calling Biden too old to serve, this is some serious hypocritical BS.

And for McConnell to just say he was fine? No can do turtleman.
Q: "Could you address what happened here at the start of the press conference and was it related to your injury from earlier this year where you suffered a concussion?"
Sen. McConnell: "I'm fine."
Q: "You're fine? You're fully able to do your job?"
McConnell: "Yeah." pic.twitter.com/Can1RtzqmM

People on Twitter had some ideas:
TIA maybe? Hasn’t he had some recent falls and a concussion too?

Omg, is he okay? Politics aside, that was hard to watch. I'm genuinely concerned for him.

Honestly, if that were me and that happened, I’m laying down right there and taking a nap.

Today’s reminder that KY changed the law to prevent Gov. Beshear from appointing a Democrat to replace McConnell if he is unable to complete his term. Which may be the case. pic.twitter.com/hPGS0w1bzY

he just got back after a head injury that had him out for 6 weeks, he probably had a stroke, just like other similarly aged relatives, the only stuff they can really do without hurting themselves or others is play golf and watch tv or other retirement activities
