White House Evacuated After Secret Service Finds Cocaine — MAGAs Already Blaming it on Hunter Biden

This is an opinion column reflecting solely the beliefs of the writer.

So now we’re going to hear about the fact that President Biden’s son Hunter visited the White House tonight and, ah, forgot his stuff? Or his dealer visit the wrong address? Or couldn’t pay and asked dad to take delivery?

Something, something will be used to tie Hunter – God help his soul – to this small little nothing that will lede on Fox News tomorrow. As reported by NPR:

The White House was temporarily evacuated on Monday after a suspicious package containing a white powder was found on the premises. The powder tested positive for cocaine hydrochloride, a highly addictive and illegal drug.

The U.S. Secret Service, which is responsible for the security of the president and the White House, said in a statement that it discovered an “unknown item” on the complex and took precautionary measures to clear the area.

Wow. Now that was really creative. “Where’s Hunter”?

You know what?

Forget Hunter. This was sent as a “joke” toward “Hunter” and “Joe” (Why else would cocaine, worth a lot of money, be sent to the White House?).

Want to know something else?

There is nothing funny about addiction. There is nothing funny about drug abuse. There is nothing funny about the lives lost every year to this terrible disease. NOTHING.

And yet that is almost surely the message below this, “Where’s Hunter?”

We could make a counter question, but we’re praying that the counter-son gets help and heals and loves his family and is around a long time, yes, even him. That’s how much we hate addiction.

So, yes – the White House was temporarily shut down. They found out it was cocaine. No one at this site would believe it was associated with Trump. We don’t believe it was associated with Biden.

We do believe that it will be something affixed to Hunter Biden by right-wing media, and that’s sick.

We should all pray for the people suffering under the scourge of addiction, not mock people about it.

Sometimes it seems like this country deserves what it is getting. Though, to be sure, we don’t deserve Joe Biden, he’s a far better man than we deserve at this time and will handle the matter with aplomb.

And look, MAGAs on Twitter are already saying it was Hunter’s:
