Former Trump Lawyer Says That Jared Kushner ‘Flipped’ on Trump and Is ‘Cooperating’ Now

This might be a lynchpin in the case against Trump.

Alisyn Camerota of CNN played host Wednesday night to former Trump lawyer and “fixer” Michael Cohen, whose testimony was key in gathering evidence of Trump’s payoffs for sex.

Cohen went into detail about the six unnamed conspirators alongside Trump, and the fact that many may have already flipped on the former President. Many of those conspirators have had their identites revealed by the media.

Cohen took it a step further and said that some of those not named in the indictment may already be cooperating with Special Counsel Jack Smith and his team. Cohen made it a point to suggest Jared Kushner may be among them.

Jack Smith is not allowing anybody to escape. So each and every one of them knows that this is me that they’re talking about. And I think it’s necessary for me to have my attorneys reach out to Jack Smith and his team to ensure that at least I have an opportunity to provide information if they haven’t already. Like, I’m a firm believer that Rudy Giuliani has already spoken.

Cohen, who has years of legal experience and even a little time behind bars himself, went on to say:

In fact, you know, I think the more important thing in this indictment to look at are not who the six coconspirators are, but rather who is missing from this indictment. Like, for example, you don’t see any mention of Mark Meadows. You see nothing of Jared Kushner. Jared Kushner was the secretary of everything. How is it possible that he is not listed here? He was there. He was on Donald’s lap the entire time from the day Donald entered the White House to the day that he left.

The implication there, of course, is that if somehow someone KNOWN to have had a role in the entire debacle has NOT been named as a conspirator in the indictment, it is likely that the person struck some sort of deal with prosecutors in exchange for testimony.

And if I may interject with my own opinion for a moment: I believe it will not be documents but former allies who have been burned by Trump that will turn today’s arraignment into a conviction.
