Trump’s Former Doctor Slammed to the Ground by Cops at Texas Rodeo But He INSISTS He Wasn’t Drinking

For once, he actually didn't have this coming.

You all remember Ronny Jackson, the White House doctor for most of Trump’s term. He famously listed Trump as having had a “perfect score” on a cognitive test. He also claimed that Trump was 6’3″ and 239 pounds — which conveniently put Trump at a body mass index just under “obese,” rather than simply “overweight.”

Jackson got passed over for an appointment to the Department of Veterans’ Affairs due to allegations that he took Ambien and got drunk while on duty at the White House.

Nevertheless, he was elected to Congress in Texas, in a district not far from where the harrowing incident took place. Apparently a young girl began having a seizure, and he ran down to help her, being a doctor. Although nothing was found in his system, clearly the cops at the rodeo thought he was on something because they came and hurled him to the ground — and put him in cuffs.

It had to have been a crazy scene. A spokesperson for Jackson’s congressional office released a statement:

While assessing the patient in a very loud and chaotic environment, confusion developed with law enforcement on the scene and Dr. Jackson was briefly detained and was actually prevented from further assisting the patient.

The Texas Tribune further noted that Jackson’s office asserted that the congressman had been seated in the stands and had not imbibed any alcoholic beverages before attempting to assist the girl. It was a notable claim given that Jackson has, in the past, been accused of drinking and taking Ambien while on the job serving as White House physician. He has denied the various allegations, but they nonetheless derailed his nomination to the Department of Veterans Affairs under Trump.

Jackson attempted to identify himself as both a doctor and a member of Congress, but it was not until later that the police acknowledged his identity and apologized.

Now, I personally would like to see him locked up for his publicly-aired conspiracies about the Omicron variant of the COVID virus. He claimed that it was made up by the Democrats in order to stoke fear in the hearts of Americans and undermine the President. But the way that Trump botched the entire response to COVID — from saying that summer heat would make it go away, to taking untested and ineffective animal medicine to DRINKING BLEACH — it almost doesn’t even matter what Ronny Jackson said.
