Kellyanne Conway Couldn’t Get Through 9/11 Without Saying Something Incredibly Stupid and Totally Inaccurate

You may remember that Kellyanne Conway, Trump propagandist extraordinaire, became infamous for her “alternative facts” a few years ago. Well, now she’s at it again, right in time for the 22nd anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

This time around she decided to attack President Joe Biden, thereby spreading more of her lies, Queerty reports. In an interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News Tuesday evening, Conway attacked “bumbling, stumbling” Biden for not visiting any of the sites where the terrorist attacks occurred.

“I think it was a miscue on many different levels, particularly for a guy who ran on being a unifier,” Conway told Hannity. “9/11 is a non-partisan, solemn day of remembrance. The worst attack ever.”

So…if 9/11 is “non-partisan” then why is Conway making it partisan via her attacks on Biden on a cable news network that is quite obviously, partisan?

Later, she added, “We’re supposed to say ‘never forget’ and I feel, sadly, very sadly, people are already forgetting. It seemed like it was less of a remembrance today across all the channels.”

Then she touched on Biden’s poll numbers, which aren’t doing all that well, and noted “Today could’ve been a day where he could explain and lift up the military. You know what he said in Alaska? He basically said Donald Trump’s more of a threat than the people who took down this country on 9/11. Think about that. He just made a lot of ads for next fall.”

But this is just more of Kellyanne’s “alternative facts” again.

Here are the actual facts.

Biden didn’t go to any of the sites where the 9/11 attacks occurred because he was coming home from a five-day trip to India and Vietnam to attend the G20 Summit. He did, however, stop at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Alaska where he gave a speech to 1000 military personnel before jetting back to the White House.

And no, Biden didn’t call Trump “more of a threat than the people who took down this country on 9/11,” as Kellyanne claimed, quite wrongly. What he did say in his speech was that a “rising tide of hatred, extremism, and political violence” has gained serious traction in the U.S. in recent years, and Biden said he hopes Americans can be compassionate and disregard their differences in the same way they did after 9/11.

“We must not succumb to the poisonous politics of difference and division. We must never allow ourselves to be pulled apart by petty manufactured grievances,” Biden said, recalling his long-term friendship with the late Republican senator John McCain.

Vice President Kamala Harris and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden also observed 9/11, with Harris attending the annual 9/11 observance at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum in lower Manhattan. Biden placed a wreath at the Pentagon Memorial during a remembrance ceremony.

So once again, Kellyanne Conway and her “alternative facts” are as always, wrong. And Trump did cause a lot of harm in the U.S. He’s really the main cause of the rise in “hatred, extremism, and political violence” as we saw when a mob of his supporters attacked the Capitol on January 6, 2021.

We need to be compassionate and to make sure Trump is never elected to office ever again.
