It’s bad enough that Rep. Lauren Boebert vaped smoke in front of a pregnant woman and then got touchy-feely with Quinn Gallagher in front of a theater audience full of families with children. Something that is decidedly low-class behavior.

But now we have to put up with a flood of “Are they or aren’t they girlfriend/boyfriend?” questions. Possibly for months (that will soon seem like years) until another Republican does something outlandish and/or stupid.

After Miss “Second Amendmenter” landed in Washington, D.C. on Monday, she told photographers that “all future date nights” with Gallagher were canceled after it was discovered that the two were tossed out of the theater in Denver thanks to their raunchfest. Which, thanks to the magic of security cameras showed Quinn fondling Boebert’s breast while she placed her hand in his lap, according to DailyMail.com.

Patrons who were unlucky enough to attend the Beetlejuice musical also complained that she was vaping, singing along, and taking photos on her cell phone.

Boebert (R-Colo.) suggested to reporters that she’d broken things off with Gallagher after finding out he was a Democrat whose bar put on drag shows, which, of course, the world knows, she finds distasteful. Even though drag shows aren’t nearly as disgusting as the fondlefest that got her and soon-to-be-(presumably)-dumped paramour out of the theater.

So DailyMail.com caught up with Gallagher in Aspen this week, and he didn’t seem to be in the mood to talk to anyone. Indeed, Gallagher, who co-owns Hooch Craft Cocktail Bar in Aspen did everything he could to pretend the reporters weren’t really there. When reporters asked him if he and Boebert really had broken up, he responded: “I’m sorry I’m not in a position to say anything about that.”

Then he walked away and placed a lengthy phone call to someone, carrying on with an animated conversation, where at one point he placed his head in his hands and gestured in the air from time to time. He paced up and down the sidewalk near his Aspen bar and also sat on a nearby park table, keeping his head down the entire time.

After the call ended, he continued texting for quite a while.

DailyMail.com was able to find out that even though Boebert tried to minimize their relationship, which was only revealed due to that unfortunate Beetlejuice incident, the couple have been quietly seeing each other for several months.

And the main reason we know this is thanks to drag queen Kendra Matic, who performs from time to time at Gallagher’s establishment and told DailyMail.com that Boebert and Gallagher have been seeing each other for a while. Apparently, lots of folks in the area already knew this.

I’m should Boebert would be thrilled to know this news was revealed by someone in the LGBTQ+ community. Especially since she’s previously suggested parents take their kids to church instead of drag bars and tweeted things like this:

And let’s not forget that after the cruel Club Q shootings, where several people lost their lives in the Colorado Springs, Colorado gay bar, Boebert tweeted this gem, without mentioning anything about the LGBTQ+ community.

The news out of Colorado Springs is absolutely awful.

So let’s recap here: Boebert is steadfast against them drag queens “grooming” children but she’s perfectly fine with letting her boyfriend “squeeze the Charmin'” in public. Because that’s a handy-dandy way to show folks she’s not a card-carrying member of that community.
