Whatever You Do, Do NOT Ask Donald Trump About Wife Melania
Melania Trump is once again missing in action — which isn’t the least bit unusual for her since she covets her own privacy. Some folks, however, have begun trolling her husband, Donald Trump, in epic fashion.
And I am here for it.
Last weekend the four-time-indicted former president was on hand for a football game at Iowa State, where he was heckled by the crowd as a plane flew over the stadium waving a “Where’s Melania?” banner, according to Queerty.

As all this was going on, folks in the crowd were distributing flyers claiming that the former FLOTUS was “missing” and urging anyone who had seen her to call the Mar-a-Lago security office.

“WHERE IS THIS WOMAN???” the flyers read, accompanied by a photo of Melania. “WHERE IS OUR FIRST LADY? WHY IS DONALD TRUMP HIDING HER? WE MISS HER.”
Weeks ago, the Trump campaign flew a banner over the Iowa State Fair that said Be Likeable, Ron!

Melania has been almost 100 percent absent since Trump announced his latest presidential bid last November. She isn’t joining him on the campaign trail. She’s also only given one brief interview — to Fox News, in which she claimed she fully supports her hubby’s candidacy.
“He has my support, and we look forward to restoring hope for the future and leading America with love and strength,” she said.
Melania also hasn’t been on hand for any of his recent arrests, arraignments, or court appearances, and she’s remained mum on his mountain of legal troubles, including the nearly 100 criminal charges he’s now facing.
“Melania is busy with her son and family and she pays only so much attention to these issues which captivate the media,” one anonymous source told People in August. “Of course, these criminal charges are embarrassing to Melania and to Donald, but life goes on and each reacts to stress in different ways.”
Of course, we all know how her tangerine husband reacts to stress. We’ve heard his reactions far too often.
And Trump has also said little about Melania’s seeming disappearance from his life, and the couple hasn’t been seen in public for months.
This past weekend seems to be a different story, however, and the Tangerine One is not happy.
After being epically trolled in Iowa, Trump, 77, responded by posting an article on Truth Social by wingnut MAGA activist Laura Loomer, and she accused Ron “Don’t Say Gay” DeSantis of being the author of the “shameless and classless political stunt.”
“DeSantis’s campaign staff passed out flyers attacking former First Lady Melania Trump,” Loomer alleged, accusing the Florida governor of being “desperate” and claiming he has abandoned his state, “which is currently one massive hurricane away from a complete insurance market and housing collapse.”
However, it isn’t known whether the DeSantis campaign was behind the Iowa stunt. His campaign has remained mum and no one else has copped to it.
New York Magazine reports:
“So who’s behind this rather low-energy Trump attack? We don’t know, but Trump supporters were quick to point the finger at Ron DeSantis and there is some circumstantial evidence to support that theory.”
” Trump and DeSantis were both at the game in Ames, Iowa, along with a few fellow 2024 GOP presidential candidates who drew far less attention (Vivek Ramaswamy, Doug Burgum, Asa Hutchinson). When the two candidates attended the Iowa State Fair last month, Trump supporters taunted DeSantis in a similar fashion: They had a plane circle the fairgrounds with a ‘Be likable, Ron!’ banner, and distributed flyers declaring the governor an ‘utter catastrophe’ for farmers.”
So it’s difficult to say whether this was tit-for-tat, even though Trump responded by sharing a salty article by Loomer.

Right now the poll numbers for DeSantis don’t look too good. A recent Emerson College Poll shows his support has dropped to 14 percent in Iowa, and he’s 35 points behind Trump. His numbers are so low, in fact, that even his biggest donors are fleeing. Things aren’t so great for Trump either, and his numbers have dropped sharply, the poll found — all the way down to 49 percent, down from 62 percent in May. He is, however, still the front-runner. For the time being, anyway.
But when it comes to Melania’s whereabouts, “I really don’t care, do U?”
Just sayin.’
