Trump Had to Be Corrected by Fox News Host as Ex-President Confuses Biden for Obama Live on Air

When President Donald Trump was interviewed Thursday on Fox News, he was more fuddle-brained than usual. He somehow managed to mistake President Joe Biden for his predecessor and former boss President Barack Obama and had to be corrected, according to Raw Story.

Trump was critiquing America’s response to the tragedy unfolding between Israel and Hamas, on Fox & Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade’s radio program Thursday. The two men discussed a range of topics.

But almost from the start, Trump attacked the Biden administration for its soft stance on Iran and asserted that if he were president the

Early on, Trump pounced on the White House for its modest stance on Iran and assured if he were president the war raging in the Middle East “would never have happened.”

Trump being who he is, he of course mocked the Biden White House for publicly discussing its strategies and began to rail (again) about the 2020 election results. Because of course. Like I’ve said before, this dude is stuck on repeat.

“That horrible date,” Trump fumed. “That horrible result. That was a disgraceful — [it was] a disgrace to our country.”

“It will go down in infamy what’s happened to our country since then…”

Then he turned his ire toward former President Obama — not President Biden — for the brutal war now engulfing the region.

“Brian it’s all coming through Iran — and Obama doesn’t want to talk about it,” Trump said. “He doesn’t even mention it in a statement. It’s all coming through Iran.”

Kilmeade jumped in: “But you mean President Biden. So uh, but right now—

Trump fired back that he indeed meant not just Biden but Obama as well.

“No, I also mean Obama, I mean Biden,” the ex-president said. “I mean Obama is Biden’s boss.”

Trump went on to clarify his remarks.

“I don’t think Biden knows what’s happening. I think Obama is calling these shots. And he’s always felt this way about Iran; there’s no question about that.”

“I think Obama — and Obama’s people — are calling the shots, not Biden,” Trump added.

Kilmeade, still clearly befuddled, tried to get a handle on what Trump was trying to get at by turning Obama into a president in absentia.

“This is just what your gut tells you, but you don’t have any proof President Obama is calling the shots,” Kilmeade said.

Trump added that this was indeed a gut feeling, but then boasted about why his gut is flawless.

“No, it’s my gut — but my gut’s been right about everything,” he said, chuckling.

But that’s not all Trump had to say.

“They have an expression out there: ‘Trump’s been right about everything!’ You take a look — go down the list — we’ve been right about everything. We were right about the wall, we were right about all the people pouring into our country. We were right about Ukraine. We were right about everything…There are a lot of people from Obama in the administration who circle the Oval Office desk — the resolute desk — and it was one of those things. Whether that’s the case or it’s Biden — we’re in a mess. It’s a mess and should not have happened.”

I’ve never seen any evidence that Obama is involved in any way, so I have no idea whether Trump is delusional or if there is a grain of truth in there somewhere, but there’s one thing I do know:

The mainstream media has been extremely one-sided on this tragedy. It’s incredibly sad that so many innocent Israelis have been killed and that Hamas is holding innocent hostages, but innocent Palestinians have suffered terribly as well. They are caught in the crossfire inside the Gaza Strip as Hamas and Israeli forces continue to battle it out. At least 1,055 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in retaliation during the conflict, and another 5,184 have been wounded. Israelis have also suffered and 1200 people have died and 2900 have been wounded due to Hamas attacks.

I’m really not at all sure what Trump was really trying to refer to, but I’m going to remind people that during his last year as president, Obama dropped 26,172 on seven Middle Eastern countries. These countries include Yemen, Pakistan, Somalia, and Yemen. It’s a truth that too many people have either forgotten or ignored.
