Fox News Breaks the Bad News to Trump Lawyer Alina Habba: ‘You’re Going to be Found Guilty’

In an interview with Fox News’s Bill Hemmer, Alina Habba, one of Donald Trump’s attorneys, declared that New York Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron does not have a “respect for authority,” after he admonished Trump during his testimony on Monday.

During the interview Tuesday, Habba and Hemmer were discussing her client’s $250 million fraud trial.

“You think that the judge already pre-ordained his verdict before the witness, okay, even before the witnesses took the stand, then you’re going to be found guilty in this case on behalf of the judge,” Hemmer suggested.

“He found us summarily liable [before the trial],” Habba said. “He said that we committed fraud, ‘we’ meaning [the] Trump Organization and all the defendants, committed fraud on their statement of financial condition because they were too low. When in fact they were in many instances undervalued.”

Habba also noted that Ivanka Trump was scheduled to testify on Wednesday despite the fact that she’s no longer a defendant in the case.

“There’s a real disregard for authority here and a real primary focus on politics,” she explained. “And that’s what we’re seeing in the courtroom.”

And Habba said she plans to dump a mountain of motions on Thursday that focus on Engoron’s behavior while Trump was testifying.

“I mean, who’s bigger than Donald Trump?” Habba asked. “And you sit there, and you’re trying to challenge him. It’s not going to work.”

Does this woman think the trial is a popularity contest or something? Trump no longer has any authority. Period. And it’s going to stay that way no matter what the ex-president demands. Judge Engoron holds the cards right now.

Habba, however, is undeterred.

“Thursday, we’ll be making our motions relating to some biases we’ve seen in the courtroom, some biases we’ve seen outside of the courtroom, and frankly, how they just haven’t been able to,” she said. “So Thursday will be a big motion day where we’ll outline how there is no case, and how there should be a mistrial and a directed verdict.”

Somehow I don’t think Judge Engoron will be impressed by this, since he has already determined Trump and his company, the Trump Organization, were indeed liable.

Well, the old saying “If wishes were fishes we’d have a big fry” applies here. Habba can dress this up any way she wants, but the fact is, her client has no authority and hasn’t had any since January 20, 2021.

I’m including a clip of Habba’s interview with Hemmer below.
