Kristi Noem Jets Off to Paris with Rumored Lover Corey Lewandowski — But She Swears She’s Not Having an Affair With Him

She’s rumored to be Donald Trump’s 2024 running mate, and she’s about as anti-LGBTQ+ as you get, and she’s currently in Paris, France attending the “World Freedom Initiative: Stand, Speak and Act of Your Freedom,” which purports to bring together “like-minded conservative, patriotic and center-right leaders from across the political spectrum together to create strong and lasting ties.”

This conference is the perfect place for South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem because so many of its featured speakers are every bit as anti-LGBTQ+ as she is. Organizers of course claim the conference features speakers from “across the political spectrum,” but nearly all of the keynote speakers scheduled to appear at the summit fit into the extreme right and deeply anti-LGBTQ+ categories, Queerty reports.

And she’s in good right-wing bonkers company including Devin Nunes, CEO of Truth Social, who bizarrely sued the Twitter account Devin Nunes’ Cow, in 2019. The account has tweeted less than flattering things about the former California Republican Rep., The Washington Post reported at the time. The account, of course, is not run by a cow belonging to Nunes, but even so, Nunes sued his supposed cow.

Then there’s Brexit sap and conversion therapy lover Nigel Farage, who’s also on hand.

There’s also former Moms 4 Liberty spokesperson Quisha King, hater of all things LGBTQ+

And Corey Lewandowski, major gaslighter to the press.

The reason Lewandowski is significant here is because of the ongoing rumors that he and Noem are having an affair. The rumors began percolating after the right-wing gossip site American Greatness published a story in September 2021, claiming the affair was “an open secret” that was well-known among GOP insiders.

To make things more convenient, Lewandowski served as a top adviser to Noem, jetting all over the country with her.

Responding to the story, she issued a fiery tweet, saying, “These rumors are total garbage and a disgusting lie. These old, tired attacks on conservative women are based on a falsehood that we can’t achieve anything without a man’s help.”

This “family values” hypocrite then said she loves her husband, Bryon, very much and she wasn’t going to let the rumors get in her way of attacking trans kids, ignoring science, and doing whatever she can to harm LGBTQ+ people and pretty much wreaking as much havoc in her state as she can.

Then Lewandowski was accused of making unwanted advances toward a woman who was a Trump donor at a Las Vegas charity event. Noem was also in attendance and after news of this broke she distanced herself from him. For a little while anyway.

She canned Lewandowski as an adviser and her spokesperson issued a statement clarifying that he was “always a volunteer, never paid a dime (campaign or official).”

But it wasn’t long before the two were traveling around the country together, canoodling at conservative conferences, events, and fundraisers, somehow keeping a lower profile while their sordid affair continued.

That changed rather explosively in September when numerous media outlets began reporting on them. Among those media outlets: The Daily Mail claimed it had “uncovered extensive evidence of the couple’s romantic relationship.” The evidence included dozens of travel records showing the couple “mixed business with pleasure, flights on donors’ private planes, and stays at luxury resorts where their intimacy was observed and noted.”

And just how cozy is it that Lewandowski and Noem are playing footsie in Paris and attending the World Freedom Initiative, where Noem was scheduled to speechify later today?

Many Republicans are confident that Noem is “On Trump’s Vice President Short List.” She’ll be joined on stage by Romanian talk show host Dorin Iacob, who’s also a politician who was arrested in 2016 for sexually harassing a woman, and French politician Eric Zemmour, an extremist right-winger who claims homosexuality leads to the “feminization” of society.

And yes, Lewandowski as well.

And before heading to the city of lights, she let her transphobia hang out for all to see on X, posting about “a male who identifies as a female” who accidentally struck another player with a hockey puck in the middle of a high school hockey game in Massachusetts.

“This horrible event took place at a high school in Massachusetts,” she fumed. “I hope this shocking event will motivate the @NCAA to help us ensure fairness and safety in girls’ sports.”

Yup. That’s classic Noem. She doesn’t even know or care if she got her facts straight here.

Newsweek dug deeper into the story and said it couldn’t verify that the student in the video is “a male who identifies as a female,” but Noem still went ahead and shared the misinformation with her 460,000 followers.

And how ridiculous is it that the conference is called the World Freedom Initiative: Stand, Speak, and Act of Your Freedom wants to ensure these people have the right to take everyone else’s freedom away. It’s being held November 10-11 and presumably Noem and her alleged paramour Lewandowski will return at some point.

As Queerty notes:

“It’s uncertain what Noem’s endgame here, but one thing is clear: This whole thing has turned into a giant clusterf*ck, much like her entire administration.”

Hey, they said it. I didn’t.

But really, this woman, who so obviously hates gay people, is a trainwreck. Of course, Donald Trump is considering her for a running mate. She’s perfect for the job.
