Delusional Trump Posts That He’s the Rightful Winner of Time’s ‘Person of the Year’ and a ‘Gift From God’

The definition of delusional from Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary is: “a persistent false psychotic belief regarding the self or persons or objects outside the self that is maintained despite indisputable evidence to the contrary.”

Yep, that sounds like our boy! People often refer to Donald Trump as delusional, and might not realize that he truly fits the definition of the word. He falsely believes that he’s this great, god-like man, despite the fact there is absolutely no evidence to validate this. Trump is truly delusional, and I am not using that word lightly. I looked up the definition because of a post Trump put up on Truth Social on Monday.

Trump posted a link to an article on a right-wing website that is just so unbelievably pro-Trump that I think it would be fair to call it propaganda. Here are some of the titles currently on the front page of the site:

  • WATCH: Thousands Of Roaring Fans Give Thunderous Applause To Trump At UFC
  • WATCH: Biden Admin Shuts Down ‘International Commerce’ To Allow More Illegal Migrants Into The Country
  • Massive Crowd Excitedly Welcomes Trump To New Hampshire – ‘Trump Signs, Trump Hats, And Trump Enthusiasm’
  • Donald Trump Praises His Wife Melania – ‘She’s Got A Tremendous Heart’
  • Donald Trump ROASTS Actor Robert De Niro In Viral Truth Social Post – ‘Unwatchable’
  • So you can see the style of articles that are written, everything is just so pro-Trump it’s sickening. And on Monday Trump posted an article titled, “Donald Trump Is The Rightful ‘Person Of The Year’”, and the subtitle is “Rightful President Trump, a gift from God, has done more to save this country than any other president”.

A gift from God. That’s a pretty shitty gift if you ask me. And if God is so pro-Trump, and gave the country Trump in order to save the world, why didn’t God have him win the 2020 election? Seems questionable, right? What’s up God?

First of all, this article is written by a young fellow named Reed Cooper. And I mean young…the kid is 19. I have handbags older than this kid. And of course a 19-year-old can have opinions about politics, in fact it’s refreshing, but Trump is literally all he knows. He was 12 when Trump was elected, and 4 when Obama was elected. How can this guy honestly write about politics when he has zero life experience. Has he even had a job, besides writing for a low-rent propaganda website? Has he ever bought a home, does he even live on his own and support himself? It’s just ridiculous. I’m guessing his love of Trump comes from his parents, which is usually where political leanings come from at first. I do hope that Cooper eventually reaches out and learns more about the world and the country, outside of the ridiculous MAGA lens. After all, Trump is an alleged criminal, and Cooper doesn’t seem to understand the ramifications of that, and sadly even if he did, he wouldn’t believe it. “Deep state” and all that.

Oh dear, I checked out Cooper’s X/Twitter and he’s just a wee lad!

I can’t determine if he goes to college, probably not, because MAGAs think college is for libtards. But I’m pretty sure this kid’s mom still buys his groceries so him writing about Trump is pretty hysterical. Then again, he also runs a site called SexyTrump.com so maybe his interest in Trump is more than political.

And the article is angry that Taylor Swift, who they describe as left-wing, won Time’s Person of the Year award. Now this “Person of the Year” award is useless. Truly, it means nothing. It’s a popularity contest. At one point it had more meaning, but now it’s just a marketing tool for a dying magazine. Trump has won it in the past, in 2016. Funny enough (or not), so has Adolf Hitler. It’s been in existence since 1927, and the winners have ranged from Charles Lindbergh (the first winner), to FDR who won quite a few times, to “the computer”, Rudy Giuliani, Jeff Bezos and even you. Yes, in 2006 YOU won the award. The magazine had a shiny foil on the cover that looked like a mirror and YOU were the winner.

The magazine’s decision was unusual because of the explosion of individual content creators on the internet in 2006. Time said, “It’s about the many wresting power from the few and helping one another for nothing and how that will not only change the world, but also change the way the world changes”. And hey, they were right.

Point is, the award isn’t really a big deal anymore, especially since Time and magazines in general just aren’t as important as they once were. But for some reason, Donald Trump sees the cover of Time as the ultimate get, and always bitches and moans when he doesn’t get it. In 2017 he knew he probably wasn’t going to get it so he put out a tweet just to let everyone know he doesn’t really care (he cared).

The winner that year was the “Silence Breakers”, the people who spoke out against sexual abuse and harassment, including the figureheads of the American MeToo movement. One of the people singled out was Taylor Swift, who of course won the award this year on her own.

Moving on, this article about Trump being robbed of the award is just laughable. Just look at this paragraph and try not to laugh:

“President Trump, who just happened to be born on Flag Day, has been successful at quite literally everything he’s ever tried throughout his life. Whether it’s sports, military school, college, business, real estate, late-night talk shows, movies, television, reality TV, or politics, Trump has triumphed at it all.”

Did the author call up Kim Jong Un’s people and ask how to write crazy propaganda? How has Trump been successful at movies? Because he had a cameo role in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York? Late-night talk shows? I’m 53, when did Trump ever host a talk show? And college, yes, Trump went to Wharton, something he won’t let you forget. But getting there wasn’t easy and he didn’t get there on his own merits. His dream school was the University of Southern California but he was rejected. Then he was forced to go to Fordham College at Rose Hill, in the Bronx, as a day student. Then a friend of his older brother Fred Jr., who happened to work at the University of Pennsylvania, got him an interview at Penn, and Trump was admitted. And at the time, Penn wasn’t the tough school it is today. When Trump was admitted in 1966 they accepted just over 50% of applicants. Today, they accept around 8%. So yeah, it’s a great school, but when Trump attended, it wasn’t the top school it is today. And yes, Trump went to the Wharton College of Business, but he didn’t go to “Wharton”. He went to Penn. When people say they went to Wharton, they are referring to the business school, and obtaining a Master’s Degree or an MBA. Trump received a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Penn, no advanced degree. It’s a small difference, but people who got their MBA from Wharton understand the difference.

And no, Trump did NOT graduate first in his class as he has told quite a few people, including Kari Lake.

The point of all of this is that Trump actually posted this article. He wants people to read it. It’s a terrible article. Terribly written, full of lies, and absent of any facts whatsoever. But, Trump’s supporters certainly don’t care about facts, nor Trump’s ridiculous lies. So they will probably eat it up. Trump did, which is why he posted it.

And the website, DC Enquirer, was founded by Brandon Gill, who happens to be married to Danielle D’Souza Gill, the daughter of Dinesh D’Souza, the nutty conservative conspiracy theorist that Trump pardoned. Gill is currently a candidate for the 26th congressional district in Texas, which is a very safe gerrymandered Republican district near Dallas, currently held by Michael Burgess who is retiring at the end of his term. Popular Information, an amazing independent journalism newsletter by Judd Legum has investigated DC Enquirer in the past and it’s amazing article which you should read to learn how these conservative sites grow so fast using Facebook, and how Facebook allows them to bend the rules.

So yeah, Trump is not a gift from God, and he certainly wasn’t the Person of the Year. The man needs to get over it already.

Oh…UPDATE. Cooper is very happy Trump posted his “article”. Seriously, this kid’s year is made:
