Fox News Claims Jill Biden ‘Plagiarized’ Melania’s Christmas Ideas, and That Melania Is the ‘Perfect Example’ of a First Lady

It seems like some conservatives go out of their way to insult Dr. Jill Biden whenever they get the chance. They hold Melania Trump up as their inspiration and compare Biden unfavorably to her.

That’s what happened Thursday when Fox News host Charly Arnolt did just that only to then describe Melania Trump as “the perfect example of what” a first lady should be, according to Newsweek.

“Melania is the perfect example of what should be in the White House as far as women are concerned,” Arnolt told Fox News commentator during his prime-time show. “Dr. Jill Biden does not make the cut.”

But perhaps the biggest contrast between the two women is their choice of Christmas decor. Who can forget Melania’s stabby red Christmas trees and other oddly sterile choices of decorations? By comparison, Biden has captured the warmth that the holiday inspires.

Her choice this year is “The Magic, Wonder, and Joy of the Holidays.” According to a press release she wanted to show “how children experience this festive season.”

Jill Biden’s White House is decorated with the things most of us love during the holidays, including traditional Christmas fare — pretty red and green baubles, holly, and halls decked with giant festive candy canes, gingerbread men sculptures, huge lollipops and sweet treats hanging from the ceiling.

But in a segment titled “Biden’s Psychedelic Christmas,” Arnolt boarded the crazy train, describing 2023’s White House display as “the least Christmas-spirity thing I’ve ever seen in my life.”

Has she been hitting the hot toddy a little too hard or something? Because she really went that extra mile in her silly description of the White House’s decor, accusing Biden of hiring a “radical Marxist dance troupe to perform during the unveiling of her “acid-dipped Christmas extravaganza.”

Candy canes, lollipops, and gingerbread men are acid-dipped? Really?

“These are also BLM (Black Lives Matter) activists that they used to perform in this Nutcracker rendition,” Arnolt, 36 said.

The New York City-based Dorrance Dance tap group featured an interpretation of the beloved ballet that included colorful costumes, air guitars, and a jazz soundtrack. This is an award-winning group that is dedicated to fighting racism and bringing this art form to education settings.

Someone had better bring Arnolt the smelling salts.

“Very different to what I’m used to seeing at the Lincoln Center,” Arnolt continued. “This is not where I think that the White House dollar should be going towards. This is a joke but doesn’t surprise me in the least.”

“So you preferred Melania’s White Christmas?” Watters asked. “And I don’t mean that racially, that was just the theme.”

Watters even at one point claimed that Jill Biden plagiarized Melania Trump by using the Nutcracker theme, which is insane because The Nutcracker is as Christmasy as candy canes and Jill Biden would never in a million years plagiarize…that’s Melania’s job.

The situation became even more ridiculous after that. I really don’t know what is wrong with this woman but she expressed more admiration for Melania and then told Watters that she is now referring to the ex-president as “Dr. Donald Trump,” since Jill Biden is “Dr. Jill Biden.”

This is absurd. Trump has received five honorary doctorates throughout his political and business career. However, all but two have been rescinded. Meanwhile, Jill Biden has a Ph.D. in education leadership from the University of Delaware. In other words, an authentic doctorate that she worked for.

The clip of Arnolt dissing Jill Biden went viral after it was shared to X by user Acyn, where it has been viewed more than 700,000 times.

Users were not impressed with Arnolt’s assessment, with Elli Anderson posting “The classless envy the classless!”

“Your understanding of ‘perfection’ is skewed,” noted @essenviews.

“Oh, because there’s a universal ‘perfect’ representation for women in the White House, and only Melania fits that bill?” Got it,” said@Nto79549105.

And oh yes, there were others. Of course, there were.

Biden’s Christmas theme was wholesome and embodied everything most of us appreciate about the holidays. Because Christmas really should be experienced through a child’s eyes. I didn’t think all of Melania’s decorations were ugly, but none of them conveyed the sense of family or the beauty of the season. It left me not knowing what she was trying to do.

I mean, with those blood-red trees, it looked like Abattoir Christmas.
