Lauren Boebert’s Son’s Babymama Speaks Out and Spills Some Tea (Like She’s No Longer Dating Tyler Boebert)

When Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) announced last year that she was going to be a grandma, it caused all sorts of scuttlebutt — largely because she was only 36 and her 17-year-old son, Tyler Boebert, was the father.

Her little grandson, Josiah is a bundle of baby cuteness and Boebert proudly paraded with him around the U.S. Capitol. Of course, she wanted the attention, which she always seems to crave, and she did, in fact, receive national attention. Considering that she’s a verbal bomb-thrower, MAGA follower, this photo provided her with the opportunity to receive the attention she desired.

But Josiah’s mom, Naomi Rocha has kept herself out of the public eye and tells Raw Story she’s raising her son amid a political quagmire.

And the toddler is prospering, “definitely starting to grow a lot and getting a lot smarter, which is scary.” Rocha also said she’s “managing pretty good.”

“My son never leaves my side unless I’m at work or he’s with Tyler,” Rocha said.

Except for the “few times (Lauren Boebert) took him to D.C.,” she said. For her, seeing her son at the U.S. Capitol, “was shocking because I didn’t know he was going to be on the House floor.”

Seeing her son at the U.S. Capitol, Rocha said, “was shocking because I didn’t know he was going to be on the House floor.” Raw Story’s Mark Alessia asked her if she has any political leanings. “Honestly, I truly don’t,” Rocha responded. She’s not Boebert’s daughter-in-law because she and Tyler Boebert have never been married and the two have since broken up.

“We are not together,” Rocha said. “We were for a year and a half.”

But even though they aren’t a couple, Rocha and Tyler Boebert share parenting duties.

“We do 50-50,” she said. “As of right now, no courts are involved.”

Mother and son now live with her parents, having initially stayed with Tyler Boebert and his parents.

Considering that this was right around the time when Lauren and Jayson Boebert were going through a contentious debate.

Not too long after that, Lauren Boebert switched from Congressional District 3, where she knew she had no chance of winning, to heavily Congressional District 4, moving hours away from western Colorado in the hopes of representing the eastern part of the state.

She’s doing this because the constituency there is more conservative and she’s trying to revive her troubled political career. One that she’s pockmarked with some notoriously high-profile controversies and scandals. I don’t think anyone’s going to forget Beetlejuice Boebert’s grope and hope game while attending the Beetlejuice play at a theater in Denver.

Boebert’s decision to move has also complicated things for Boebert.

“It did,” she admitted. “Her switching districts means more distance. We meet halfway.”

Her relationship with Lauren Boebert, even as she was dealing with the tumultuous split with Jayson Boebert, is “pretty good,” Rocha said.

“There are a few ups and downs. Just mainly Lauren and Jayson’s drama,” she said.

And indeed, the end of the Boebert marriage has brought drama. The couple divorced in October and Boebert brought her grandson to the hearing.

Lauren and Jayson Boebert have indeed supplied drama.

“The public portion of the dissolution of marriage hearing was over in minutes, but that came after nearly 40 minutes of negotiations behind closed doors when shouting between the Boeberts, and a baby crying, could be heard through the locked door of the courtroom,” the Vail Daily reported.

The impact of the divorce also affected her relationship with Tyler she noted.

It’s safe to say that the divorce put Jayson Boebert in an ornery mood, and in January he was charged with misdemeanor obstructing a police officer and two petty offenses of disorderly conduct after he argued with Lauren at an eatery in Silt, Colo.

And on January 9 Tyler called 911 after an alleged fight and argument after 1 a.m. In this instance, Jayson was charged with possessing a gun while under the influence of alcohol, misdemeanor harassment, and misdemeanor assault. The police report is partially redacted, but it alleges that Jayson, while under the influence of alcohol when the two were arguing, and he purportedly shoved Tyler to the ground and pushed his thumb into his son’s mouth, and inflicting pain by trying to pull out one of his teeth. But that’s not all; the report also alleges that Jayson grabbed a rifle when she saw Tyler calling 911. Jayson subsequently left the house.

And Rocha, who is only 17, has been in the middle of all of this.

My dad was an alcoholic for almost all of his life. Between that and my mother’s constantly popping valium, I was in the middle of hell as a teenager. I truly feel for Rocha since she also has a little one to cae for.

As for Boebert, she considers herself a culture warrior but admitted “she fell short of my values” last September after being kicked out of the “Beetlejuice” musical for vaping, recording the performance, and singing — not to mention the aforementioned game of grope and hope.

So as she faces a tough Republican primary campaign in this new district which is flooded with candidates, I hope she loses. She’s as anti-LGTQ+ as you get and is barely hanging on. And some people have said she really needs this because this is the only income she’ll be receiving. After all, the child support Jayson is providing isn’t going to last forever. The primary is scheduled for June 25.

It’s time for Colorado to take out the trash, and Boebert losing the primary is a good start.
