Supermodel Karlie Kloss and her sister-in-law Ivanka Trump are two studies in contrast. Kloss, the host of Project Runway, is an avowed Democrat, whereas up until recently, Ivanka has pretty much clung to her Republican father, Donald Trump’s coattails. She has since distanced herself from dear old dad, but it’s clear the two women have been avoiding each other, Queerty reports.

Both women were on hand for the lavish pre-wedding celebration for two of Asia’s two wealthiest families, alongside plenty of high-profile billionaires that included Bill Gates, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, and Mark Zuckerberg. Ivanka and Karlie each posted their fair share of photos from the $152 million shindig. However, there’s definitely one thing you don’t see among all those photos: pictures of the two women together.

“Karlie Kloss and Ivanka Trump did not post ONE picture together from lavish Ambani wedding party – despite both attending with their Kushner husbands,” writes the pot-stirring rag Daily Mail.

The bride and groom, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are heirs to two of the largest fortunes in the world. The star-studded spectacle was held over the weekend in India and it included a special performance by Rihanna, who allegedly received $9 million for her set.

This was definitely quite the wing-ding, so of course it drew in Ivanka, who’s doing whatever she can to keep distancing herself from the Trump family toxicity. And apparently, according to Queerty, the former first daughter has been hanging out with Kim Kardashian. But the situation changes when Karlie Kloss shows up. A definite liberal, Kloss is married to Jared Kushner’s brother, Joshua. Who also happens to be a liberal. Since the couple obviously have vastly divergent political views, it seems like Karlie doesn’t wish to be photographed with her brother- and sister-in-law, Queerty reports.

She posted at least eight photos to her Instagram, including one of Joshua in traditional Indian garb.

Jarvanka, however, are nowhere to be found in those photos.

The same goes for Ivanka’s Instagram, where she posted three galleries from the pre-wedding bash, and Kloss doesn’t appear in a single one. Reuters apparently shows a photo of Jared and Ivanka seated next to Joshua, but Karlie is nowhere in sight. Ivanka shared family photos, solo shots, and even video of the goings-on and Kloss’s absence is very noticeable.

“Ivanka seemingly wants everyone to think she’s back to being a popular Hollywood liberal. But yet, she doesn’t post a picture with Karlie, who embodies that very ideal,” Queerty notes.

I don’t know what’s up with that, but like her dad, Ivanka likes to be the center of attention. Undoubtedly Karlie, a true liberal, would upstage her.
