Kimberly Guilfoyle Wore a See-Through Dress and People on Social Media Have Some Thoughts

Most men and women know that the entire je ne sais quoi of lingerie – the French clearly have a big edge in appreciating minimalism –  is that a lot of skin is exposed while an aching portion is left hidden. Don’t blame me; I didn’t invent the idea, and, of course, I’m just going by what I’m told… not literally, just maddeningly close.

That truism seems to be lost on one Kimberly Guilfoyle, who seems to specialize in wearing just a bit too little to leave many people wanting a lot less – viewable skin, that is.

It isn’t nice to be mean about this but why does Kimberly insist on wearing clothes better suited for, well – those times when she’s alone? At the risk of being nasty (Did I say that?) Kimberly recently appeared in public in a dress that left her upper torso free of speculation.

As a guy, I’m the last person who should be telling women how to dress. I can say that most guys go nuts over the speculation that comes when a significant amount of skin is left to speculation about the rest of the skin – which makes one wonder what she was thinking when she wore this:

The single last thing we are going to do is be “ageist” about this picture. Kimberly looks good, not for a woman of her age but of a woman – who shouldn’t be judged by age. But lord in heaven, beaver shit on a stick, what is the point in wearing a dress that doesn’t provide the essence of being dressed?

It is with the utmost humiliation that I say that I now know exactly what Kimberly would look like sashaying across the bedroom. I am not humiliated to say that I didn’t need to see or consider that thought.

Again, there is nothing, absolutely nothing, wrong with post-menopausal women demonstrating that they still look great.

But with that maturity comes the expectation that “looking great” has fallen in importance to “caring greatly,” “understanding the greatness of true love, and the look of a great dress that further compliments the attractive look. Kimberly seems to have missed all three, and, well – most women, even young women, know that three strikes me you’re out.

And she’s been known to wear see-through dresses in the past. Remember this one from New York Fashion Week in 2019?

And this one from a few days ago at yet another Mar-a-Lago fundraiser:

Kimberly is definitely hanging “out.” Yes, so much so that many wish she would’ve just stayed in. Of course, people on X/Twitter had their two cents:
