Never Before Seen Photos of Melania Trump’s White House Bedroom and Bathroom Uncovered

Melania Trump’s living situation has always been a point of curiosity since she made the unheard-of decision to not move into the White House immediately after Donald Trump’s became president.

Melania stayed behind in the family’s New York City apartment with the couple’s teenage son Barron while he finished the school year. Of course we have since learned she also used this time to get a stronger postnuptial agreement.

In June 2017, the mother and son finally moved to the White House, but that didn’t stop speculation about where she lived and how much time she and Donald Trump actually spent together.

A book by former-CNN correspondent Kate Bennett confirmed long-standing rumors that Melania didn’t only have her own room, but occupied an entirely separate floor of the White House from her husband.

The book says that Donald slept in the master bedroom on the second level of the White House residence while Melania stayed on the third floor in a two-room space that was previously occupied by former first lady Michelle Obama’s mother, Marian Robinson.

Alongside her bedroom is a “glam room,” for Trump to do her daily hair and makeup, and a private gym with a Pilates machine.

Here is the second floor of the White House, where Donald Trump slept in the Master Bedroom. He was the first president who requested locks on his doors, but this ended up being a problem for the Secret Service who insisted they have access to his bedroom at all times.

Of course, there was also a rumor that while Melania maintained a bedroom, she lived in a house outside of the White House, with Barron and her parents. Phillip Reines, who is a former Deputy Secretary of State under Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, said it was an “open secret” that Melania lived elsewhere:

We believe this to be true…because Melania was simply never around. Barron was never around. Yes, there were certain photo ops, the “family” walking to Marine One, etc. But it wasn’t like the Obama days.

Moving on, we have some photos of Melania Trump’s bedroom in the White House. Also, a few photos of her bathroom.

Melania definitely made her mark on the White House, and not in a good way. Obviously each new presidential family that moves in gets to change their living space to whatever they want. And Melania was quick to strip those spaces of everything Obama…and made it as Trump as possible, even though she was rarely there.

Each first family puts its mark on the White House: the Obamas also redid the second floor residence, above is the Yellow Oval Room as seen in a shoot published in Architectural Digest – Melania Trump redid this room as pictured below

Here are some additional photos of the White House, including of the bowling alley. Melania’s update to the bowling alley included new balls that read “The President’s House” when in fact, the White House is “The People’s House”. But we would expect Melania to know the difference.
