Barron Trump Photo at Mar-a-Lago Goes Viral and Not for the Best Reason

Barron Trump has been accompanying his dad, Donald Trump on the campaign trail on occasion recently, and now a photo of him at Mar-a-Lago has gone viral. The photo was posted to X by steel magnate Justin Waller, who is seen standing alongside entrepreneur Patrick Bet-David, MMA fighter Colby Covington, and 17-year-old Bo Loudon (son of conservative commentator Gina Loudon). Barron, who recently turned 18 and stands a lanky 6’7″ is seen in the center of the photo.

Each of the men standing with young Barron has a sizable following on X, Newsweek reports. Waller has connections with controversial brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate. He was heavily featured by Andrew Tate’s business The Real World, which wound up being removed by YouTube over concerns it was exploiting Andrew Tate’s young fan base.

Covington is a very vocal supporter of Donald Trump, and has even bizarrely claimed that a recent MMA game was rigged because he’s a Trump supporter. Which is, I don’t know, dumb. Bo Loudon’s mom was a member of the ex-president’s 2020 media advisory board, while Bet-David is a conservative political commentator and host of the PBD Podcast channel on YouTube.

So Barron is obviously surrounded by a pack of unquestioning supporters of Dear Old Dad and accompanying his father on the campaign trail and I don’t know how well this bodes for the young man. But it seems that Barron looks very…sad? Almost like he’s a human cardboard cutout, placed there for the MAGA people to get their photos.

Okay, now to the photo this article is about.

“Good evening. Let’s take this country back..” Waller posted above the photo alongside three emojis of the American flag.

And the post has really gone viral, receiving nearly 40 million views and folks shared their thoughts on the photo and the men in it.

Not everyone was impressed. One person, for instance, quipped “Back to the 1830s.”

Another user cut right to the heart”

“You look like clowns on this picture and I’m not even a hater.

More than a few X users enjoyed taking digs:

“Baron [sic] looks embarrassed to be standing there with those posers.”

Others couldn’t help but notice Barron is rather, well, cute. Because he is, and he apparently inherited most of Melania’s looks.

It’s really too bad that Donald Trump is this young man’s father. I hope he grows up questioning his father’s ill-conceived and self-serving motives. Barron is so young, after all, so there is time for him to start questioning things and I hope he does.

I’m not going to hold my breath though.
