Megyn Kelly Reveals Why Trump Is Going to Lose Hush Money Case Big Time, ‘Oh, He’s Getting Convicted’

This is the earliest of Trump's criminal, not civil, trials.

Jury selection is about to begin for the criminal case against Donald Trump for illegally concealing his “hush money” payment to Stormy Daniels from his finances.

Stormy Daniels, AKA Stephanie Clifford, is the adult film star that Trump had an affair with while his wife Melania was pregnant with their son Barron.

Trump is accused of lying on his financial statements and taxes to hide the check that we’ve all now seen a picture of.

Trump has been trying to get a delay in the trial, pending his appeal of a gag order from the judge in the Manhattan case to prevent him from publicly harassing witnesses, as he’s done so many times in the civil trials he’s already faced. Judges, victims, witnesses, court clerks, Senators, you name it, Trump has harassed them.

And even though we all know about the ongoing feud between journalist and television presenter Megyn Kelly and the former president, she makes a pretty good argument in her current prediction about how this is all going to go for him.

Appearing on the Tuesday edition of NewsNation with Dan Abrams, Kelly told the host that she believed Trump would be convicted “pretty easily.”

The former Fox News host went on:

“Oh, he’s getting convicted. I don’t really think there’s a lot of mystery about that… [H]e’s going to get convicted. The jury’s going to hate him. Manhattan went 92%, between 87 and 92% for Joe Biden. That’s where this is going to be tried. These are not Trump lovers.”

Although Kelly did say she felt “affair” was too strong a word, and that she may have chosen “interlude” instead, she elaborated even further:

“Look, I think the jury’s going to believe that he paid off a porn star before the election to make her go away and that he didn’t write down in his books, ‘Hush money to Stormy Daniels,’ because no one in the history of hush money payments has ever written that in any book anywhere. It defeats the whole purpose of a hush money payment.

So I grant you, yeah, they’re probably going to convict him. They’re going to convict him pretty easily, I think.”

Megyn Kelly is still a Republican. She still said she doesn’t think Trump SHOULD be convicted, despite her beef with Trump and despite the mountain of evidence against him in this trial, because birds of a feather fly together.

But make no mistake: Even Republicans like Megyn Kelly believe he’ll be convicted, because Trump is guilty.
