Melania Is Furious and Humiliated by Stormy Daniels Case and Donald Trump Is Getting ‘Quite Worried’

Former First Lady Melania Trump is causing her husband, former President Donald Trump to be “quite worried” over his hush money trial, which is scheduled to begin on Monday, according to former White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham, who wore many hats within the administration, including serving as Melania’s chief of staff.

So Grisham understands her quite well and in an interview on CNN earlier this week she offered insights into how the former first lady may be dealing with the trial, according to Newsweek .

“I would imagine that she is pushing him to make this stop. I would imagine that she would push him to go on the stand and defend himself because this is very, very embarrassing for her,” Grisham said. “It’s humiliating for her, and I can guarantee you that she’s not happy right now and that he’s quite worried about that.”

Even though this trial may not be as crucial as some of his other trials, Grisham said these specific charges are “very personal to him.”

These allegations, she noted, are an “embarrassment to him with his family, and more importantly with his wife Melania,” remembering how Melania acted when Daniels first went public with the accusations.

“She didn’t take it lightly at all. We went to the State of the Union separately. She refused to walk out to Marine One with him because she didn’t want to be like Hillary Clinton and standing by her man. She’s a very independent and strong woman,” Grisham said.

Over the years, Grisham has grown increasingly critical of her ex-boss following the January 6, 2021 riot, which turned violent. She resigned from her position as Melania’s chief of staff the same day. In January, she issued a warning about the dangers of a second Trump presidency.

“It’s important for people who were like me or who are like me now, who really believe in him, to understand how another Trump presidency will be,” Grisham said on CNN. “So what is democracy? That’s people having the freedom to act and speak freely. I think under Trump, you’re not going to be able to do that, or you are going to be able to do that as long as you’re talking about him just in positive ways.”

We need to take her seriously. Trump is a dangerous man and we stand to lose what little democracy we have left if he wins.

So we have to hope these charges brought last year by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg will stick. He has charged the former president with a 34-count indictment after allegedly making the payment to adult film actress Stormy Daniels in the run-up to the 2016 election. Bragg’s office has alleged Trump paid Daniels to prevent her from going public with comments about her alleged affair with him. Which Trump, of course, keeps denying ever happened.

Trump continues to maintain his innocence here and he’s done this in each of the criminal cases he’s dealing with. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges and has sharply criticized Bragg, claiming he is targeting for political gain. It’s easy to imagine he likely do more illegal things as president and who knows who or what will get hurt as a result?
