Melania Trump’s ‘Pathetic’ Excuse for Not Campaigning With Donald Is Slammed by Former Insider, ‘SHE LIED!!’

Melania Trump’s former aide, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff is attacking her again because Melania has largely been absent from her husband’s campaign trail saying the reason she’s not attending his rallies and other functions is “pathetic.”

Wolkoff was Melania’s former BFF and her first hire when Melania became first lady in 2016. But their relationship went south and Winston Wolkoff had to exit the White House in 2018.

This situation got off the ground after an anonymous source told The Independent last Saturday that the reason for Melania’s reluctance to appear at her husband Donald Trump’s campaign trail is that she had been “betrayed by her staff” during her first White House residency. That same source mentioned the 2020 book Melania and Me, by Winston Wolkoff, her supposed former “best friend” and the first person she hired after Trump’s 2016 election win, Yahoo!News reports.

That “excuse” apparently irked Wolkoff, who vented on X, slamming it as “pathetic.”

“The AUDACITY!” Wolkoff fumed. “For any human being to make EXCUSES for Melania Trump not campaigning with Donald because she ‘felt betrayed by her staff is PATHETIC.”

“Melania LIED & watched the media & her WH CRUCIFY me & then she used her DOJ to try and SILENCE me,” Wolkoff added. “EVIL!”

CNN spoke with a source who said that the role Melania would plan in her husband’s campaign isn’t clear at this point. The cable news outlet reported Melania’s role hasn’t been set in stone but also noted she can hit the trail whenever she decides to.

“She’ll definitely have a role, but in terms of what that is, I don’t know,” a source connected to the Trump campaign said. “It is her decision on how much or how little she will be campaigning.”

“She is very selective and methodical in what she wants to do and how she presents herself,” the insider told CNN. “She is very decisive with these things and knows they have a lot of intended and unintended consequences.”

Melania was on hand recently, appearing alongside her husband to cast their ballot in the Florida presidential primary. She donned dark sunglasses and a long white dress for the event while standing by her husband’s side as he took questions from the press. She was asked if she would be joining the former president on the campaign trail amid his re-election bid. She left the briefest of hints.

“Stay tuned,” she said smiling.

The Florida outing was the first time Melania had been out and about for a while since her husband launched his campaign in November 2022. She didn’t take part in his election night watch party last month at Mar-a-Lago and hasn’t appeared with Trump at any of his numerous court appearances.

She and her husband also put in an appearance at his attorney, Alina Habba’s 40th birthday bash last Saturday evening. Both seemed to be in a good mood as they posed beside Habba. The guest list purportedly included Trump’s sons, Eric and Don Jr., and their partners, Lara Trump and Kimberly Guilfoyle.

I fail to understand why there is so much attention focused on whether Melania shows up on the campaign trail and elsewhere. She is an intensively private person who dislikes appearing in public. That’s become abundantly clear during her years as first lady and afterward. She relishes her solitude. And really, there are far more issues the media should be dealing with, including things like: How will Trump be dealing with the world’s superpowers if he’s elected? We know he’s a frequent Vladimir Putin brown-noser, but how’s he going to deal with China? How will he handle the situations in Ukraine and Palestine? As far as I can tell he gets mostly softball questions.

Leave Melania to her privacy and for crying in the beer, start asking the difficult questions. The entire country depends on this.

And it would be nice if Wolkoff would write another book because she’s been flogging this one for years and it’s getting ridiculous.
