Racist Pro-Trump ‘Reporter’ Openly Says That Only White Males Should Vote

This takes the cake.

Ben Bergquist, a reporter for “Real America’s Voice,” a right-wing media outlet, is a huge Trump fan.

It turns out he has a brilliant idea for how to get his idol reinstalled in the Oval Office: Restrict everyone but white men from voting in the upcoming presidential election.

Now, we’re talking a full-on Trumper here. He covers literally almost nothing but Trump — protests, rallies, the border crisis (caused by Trump policies and only beginning to be solved by President Biden).

This guy is pals with Marjorie Taylor Greene, if you get what I mean.

On his Instagram, Bergquist posted a meme depicting a map of the US, colored in with the traditional party colors, blue and red. On it, it shows what the US would look like if only white men were allowed to vote, and how much redder the country would be if that were the case.

Ironically enough, that once WAS the case, and that got us slavery and the Civil War. I guess Ben’s cool with that, because he superimposed the phrase “IF ONLY” on top of the meme.

Even more ironically, the states he highlighted in blue — as in, won by the Democratic candidate — add up to just 44 electoral votes shy of victory.

If we did away with the electoral college, there would never be a Republican president again. That’s not hyperbole; it’s been two decades since a Republican won the popular vote, and that was basically because his opponent bored people to sleep.

It’s easy to take this meme lightly.

We could just say, “Oh, another crazy Trump fanatic.” But this speaks to something much, much deeper, and it runs very deep in his voting base. Of course casual racism like this shouldn’t be ignored. But even that’s not it.

It’s that they know they have to find a WAY for Trump to win, because they know in their heart of hearts that he lost the last one, and they tried to stage a coup over it because they didn’t get their way.

They know they have to appeal to a single demographic, even though the president is supposed to be a leader for everyone.

Deep down, they know they’re going to lose again.

And Bergquist, who pals around with white Republican women like Greene and Kari Lake, the newscaster-turned-failed-candidate for governor in Arizona, in no way tries to hide his love for Trump.

Pictures of him at Mar-a-Lago prove that Trump loves him, too, or at least enough to invite him to his house.
