I’ve always said, reading Donald Trump’s Truth Social feed is like a window into his soul (if he had one). You can tell what kind of mood he’s in based on how and what he posts. And today? Phew. He is angry, he is scared. And can you blame him? His life is truly a freaking mess. Yes, he’s rich. But being rich won’t matter if you’re behind bars and with all the problems he’s already causing in his CRIMINAL New York trial that could actually happen.

A rather humiliated Trump started his Thursday screaming that Truth Social is “very solid,” after the platform’s parent company reported a $58 million loss last year and saw its shares plunge more than 20 percent this week, costing him a little over one billion dollars in net worth.

Trump was awake bright and early (I can’t imagine he’s getting much sleep lately) and said, “All of the competitors to TRUTH SOCIAL, especially those in the Radical Left Democrats Party who are failing at every level, like to use their vaunted “disinformation machine” to try and convince people, and it is not easy to do, that TRUTH is not such a big deal and doesn’t “get the word out” as well as various others, which they know to be false. I THINK TRUTH IS AMAZING!”

Then he continued, “First of all, it is very solid, having over $200,000,000 in CASH and ZERO DEBT. More importantly, it is the primary way I get the word out and, for better or worse, people want to hear what I have to say, perhaps, according to experts, more than anyone else in the World. My TV ratings are by far the highest, and my Rallies are not equaled, even close, anywhere or by anyone. Look, I had hundreds of millions of followers on various platforms, and could have them back again, but was cancelled for largely political reasons. Those platforms all want me back…They need me back! On Truth I have 7,000,000 followers.”

Then Trump went on, saying, “Very good for a startup, and growing fast. But when I put out a statement or message, it is SPREAD all over the place, fast and furious. EVERYBODY SEEMS TO GET WHATEVER I HAVE TO SAY, AND QUICKLY. At press conferences I will sometimes ask, “who is on TRUTH.” I have never had one reporter tell me they are not. They are all on TRUTH because the have to be. So don’t believe the FAKE NEWS.

Trump then wrapped up this scream fest saying, “Until I came along and exposed them, they were respected and believed. Now they are the exact opposite. With the Russia, Russia, Russia HOAX. and all of the others, people get it. Look, using TRUTH, I became the Republican Nominee for President of the United States, and in record time! When I ENDORSE a politician on TRUTH, they almost ALWAYS WIN. If it didn’t work, or properly get the word out, I wouldn’t use it – But it does work, and work really well – And the fun is just getting started!!!”

Truth Social’s parent company, Trump Media & Technology Group, went public last week, after finalizing its merger with the blank check company Digital World Acquisition Corp. (DWAC) after more than two years of delays.

Trump Media had a strong stock market debut, with shares rising above $79 on its first day of trading and settling around $62 by the end of the week.

However, the company’s share price plummeted Monday, after it reported a $58 million loss for 2023. By market close Monday, Trump Media’s stock had fallen 21.4 percent to a price of $48.66 per share.

Aside from basic income and balance-sheet information, the company has yet to provide detailed performance metrics, like the number of customer sign-ups or active users, and it has said it has no immediate plans to do so.

As of Thursday morning, its shares were hovering around $47, causing Trump’s net worth to plummet by more than one billion dollars. And I know what you are thinking:

Trump owns 78.8 million shares of the company, a 57.3% stake worth more than $3.6 billion at the firm’s share price of $46 on Thursday morning. Trump has to wait until a six-month lockup period expires before he can sell any shares. By then, the stock will most likely be nothing. A penny/pink sheet stock if he’s lucky.

It’s far from clear how the volatile stock will fare during that six-month interval, and Trump Media’s long-term business plan has spurred scores of skeptics.

Then Trump excoriated Special Counsel Jack Smith for “attacking” Judge Aileen Cannon in a recent filing despite having spent months launching broadsides at other judges overseeing his other criminal and civil cases.

Trump said, “Deranged “Special” Counsel Jack Smith, who has a long record of failure as a prosecutor, including a unanimous decision against him in the U.S. Supreme Court, should be sanctioned or censured for the way he is attacking a highly respected Judge, Aileen Cannon, who is presiding over his FAKE Documents Hoax case in Florida. He is a lowlife who is nasty, rude, and condescending, and obviously trying to “play the ref.” He shouldn’t even be allowed to participate in this sham case, where I, unlike Crooked Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, and all the rest, come under the Presidential Records Act. I DID NOTHING WRONG, BUT BIDEN DID, AND THEY LET HIM OFF SCOT-FREE. HOW DID THAT HAPPEN, JACK? A TWO TIERED SYSTEM OF JUSTICE. ELECTION INTERFERENCE!”

In his recent brief, Smith suggested that an order from Cannon would “distort the trial” and was based on a “fundamentally flawed legal premise.” CNN senior legal analyst Elie Honig said on Wednesday that Smith “clearly has had it” with Cannon and suggested he could even resort to the “drastic” step of asking for her removal from the case.

Still, Smith’s sharp tone pales in comparison to some of the things Trump’s said about other judges.

Trump not only called Arthur Engoron, who presided over Trump’s civil fraud trial in New York, a “runaway judge” guilty of “causing grave damage to our Justice System, to New York State, and to the United States of America!” but attacked his wife and law clerk…repeatedly.

And most recently, Trump has been constantly attacking Judge Juan Merchan, who is overseeing the Stormy Daniels hush money case in New York, as well as his daughter by name, characterizing the latter as a “Rabid Trump Hater,” amongst other things.

Judge Tanya Chutkan, meanwhile, has been described by Trump as “highly partisan.” The former President and adjudicated rapist has also claimed that there is “NO WAY” he can get a “FAIR TRIAL” with her overseeing the federal case against him for his post-2020 election behavior.
