With a jury now selected and with opening statements looming on Monday in his historic criminal trial, Donald Trump took to Truth Social on Saturday to not just complain and whine about the case, but also return to the topic of presidential immunity, which he screamed about in 6 (recounted, it is now 9) separate and desperate posts.

The Supreme Court will hear oral arguments regarding Trump’s claims of immunity on April 25th. The former president and adjudicated rapist argues that without it, the nation’s commander-in-chief would not be able to function for fear of prosecution. Of course Trump fails to mention that most presidents aren’t criminals, and have no need to worry about immunity. Funny how he always leaves that part out.

Trump started his day screaming about the hush money trial. Opening statements begin Monday, and it’s going to be brutal for Trump. He said, “THIS SCAM “RUSHED” TRIAL TAKING PLACE IN A 95% DEMOCRAT AREA IS A PLANNED AND COORDINATED WITCH HUNT THAT COULD HAVE BEEN BROUGHT 8 YEARS AGO, BUT EVERYBODY PASSED. INSTEAD THEY WAITED AND BROUGHT IT RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF MY PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN AGAINST THE WORST AND MOST INCOMPETENT PRESIDENT EVER, CROOKED JOE BIDEN. IT IS BEING PRESIDED OVER BY POSSIBLY THE MOST CONFLICTED JUDGE IN JUDICIAL HISTORY, WHO MUST BE REMOVED FROM THIS HOAX IMMEDIATELY. I DID NOTHING WRONG!”

Obviously all of that is untrue. Prosections and trials take time to prepare, which Trump knows. He also announced he was running for president again BEFORE the 2022 midterms. Now we know why…so he could complain that all these criminal trials were “election interference”. Plus, dude was a New Yorker his entire life? That’s why the case in NYC. He only moved to Mar-a-Lago because he knew how hated he was in NYC, that he was literally chased out of town.

Then Trump went nuts about presidential immunity. He knows should SCTOUS rule against him, he’s done. He will be prosecuted for the January 6th insurrection, for which he has zero defense.

He started early, with a post that basically threatened Biden, along with former presidents Obama and Bush. He said, “If a President does not have Immunity, the Opposing Party, during his/her term in Office, can extort and blackmail the President by saying that, “if you don’t give us everything we want, we will Indict you for things you did while in Office,” even if everything done was totally Legal and Appropriate.

Then Trump continued, “That would be the end of the Presidency, and our Country, as we know it, and is just one of the many Traps there would be for a President without Presidential Immunity. Obama, Bush, and soon, Crooked Joe Biden, would all be in BIG TROUBLE. If a President doesn’t have IMMUNITY, he/she will be nothing more than a “Ceremonial” President, rarely having the courage to do what has to be done for our Country. This is not what the Founders had in mind! Protect Presidential Immunity. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Another shorter post followed, “Without Presidential Immunity, the Presidency will lose its power and prestige, and under some Leaders, have no power at all. The Presidency will be consumed by the other Branches of Government. THAT IS NOT WHAT OUR FOUNDERS WANTED!”

Then around 4pm set, he went nuts. Whether he received some bad news from his legal team, or he just got scared, he went nuts. He started with a threat to Biden, “IF THEY TAKE AWAY MY PRESIDENTIAL IMMUNITY, THEY TAKE AWAY CROOKED JOE BIDEN’S PRESIDENTIAL IMMUNITY.”

Trump then added some drama, with his typical lies. He said, “WITHOUT PRESIDENTIAL IMMUNITY, IT WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE FOR A PRESIDENT TO PROPERLY FUNCTION, PUTTING THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA IN GREAT AND EVERLASTING DANGER!”

Then more drama, screaming about the “life and breath of our country”, never mentioning that presidents that don’t break constantly break laws don’t have anything to worry about. He said, “A President of the United States must have Full Immunity in order to properly function and do what has to be done for the good of our Country. A Nation-destroying ruling like the one handed down by the D.C. Circuit cannot be allowed to stand. If not overturned, as it should be, this decision would terribly injure not only the Presidency, but the Life, Breath, and Success of our Country.”

He continued, “A President will be afraid to act for fear of the opposite Party’s Vicious Retribution after leaving Office. I know from personal experience because I am going through it right now. It will become a Political Weapon used for Election Interference. Our Elections will be corrupted and under siege. So bad, and so dangerous for our Nation. SAVE PRESIDENTIAL IMMUNITY!”

Then the posts got crazier, you can almost sense his fear. He said, “REMEMBER, if I don’t have Presidential Immunity, then Crooked Joe Biden doesn’t have it either, and he would certainly be Prosecuted for his many ACTUAL CRIMES, including illegally receiving massive amounts of money from Foreign Countries, including China, Ukraine, and Russia, paying off Ukraine to fire an unfriendly prosecutor, allowing millions of people to illegally Enter and Destroy our Country, SURRENDERING in Afghanistan, with Hundreds Dead, many Americans Left Behind, and handing over Billions of Dollars Worth of the Best Military Equipment anywhere on Earth, the Decimation of American Wealth through the Green New Scam, and so much more. REMEMBER, Crooked Joe Biden and his CORRUPT JUSTICE DEPARTMENT, D.A.’s and A.G.’s, has attacked his Political Opponent at a level never seen before in this Country, and wants desperately to PUT “TRUMP” IN PRISON. He is playing a very dangerous game, and the great people of America WILL NOT STAND FOR IT. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!”

Trump kept going, basically saying the same thing, over and over:

“A President has to be free to determine what is right for our Country without undue pressure. If there is no Immunity, the Presidency, as we know it, will “no longer exist.” Many actions for the benefit of our Country will not be taken. This is in no way what the Founders had in mind. Legal Experts and Scholars have stated that the President must have Full Presidential Immunity. A President must be free to make proper decisions. His mind must be clear, and he must not be guided by the fear of retribution!”

Then there was this ridiculousness. And when he says “legal scholars”, he is referring to Jonathan Turley and maybe the man who wears his underpants when he gets massages, Alan Dershowitz. Those are the only two men who openly support Trump and his crimes. And Turley is a Fox News contributor as well, so that tells you all you need to know:

“Legal Scholars are extremely thankful for the Supreme Court’s Decision to take up Presidential Immunity. Without Presidential Immunity, a President will not be able to properly function, or make decisions, in the best interest of the United States of America. Presidents will always be concerned, and even paralyzed, by the prospect of wrongful prosecution and retaliation after they leave office. This could actually lead to the extortion and blackmail of a President. The other side would say, “If you don’t do something, just the way we want it, we are going to go after you when you leave office, or perhaps even sooner.”

Then Trump wrapped it up (for now) by saying he was ENTITLED to immunity. Always with the entitlement. Being allowed to do whatever he wants:

“Of course I was entitled, as President of the United States and Commander in Chief, to Immunity. I wasn’t campaigning, the Election was long over. I was looking for voter fraud, and finding it, which is my obligation to do, and otherwise running our Country. If I don’t get Immunity, then Crooked Joe Biden doesn’t get Immunity, and with the Border Invasion and Afghanistan Surrender, alone, not to mention the Millions of dollars that went into his “pockets” with money from foreign countries, Joe would be ripe for Indictment. By weaponizing the DOJ against his Political Opponent, ME, Joe has opened a giant Pandora’s Box. As President, I was protecting our Country, and doing a great job of doing so – Just look around at the complete mess that Crooked Joe Biden has caused. The least I am entitled to is Presidential Immunity on Fake Biden Indictments!”

Trump does have a rally Saturday night in Wilmington, North Carolina, and it will surely be insane. He’s angry and scared about something, so expect him to go off the rails, and blame Biden and the Democrats for all the crimes he committed. The rally is at the airport, so he can arrive in his dumb “Trump Force One” and walk off to applause from his cultists, the only thing that keeps him going.
