Trump’s Bizarre Post-Trial Rant Leaves People Wondering About His Health, ‘He Sounds 150 Years Old!’

By all accounts, Donald Trump didn’t have a good day. The Supreme Court didn’t seem to be buying his total immunity defense to the January 6th cases; he had weird reactions to the testimony in his Manhattan criminal case, and his request for a new trial in the E. Jean Carroll case was summarily denied with some strong language.

But perhaps he hurt himself most with his post-trial comments outside the Manhattan Courthouse where he… didn’t do well in commenting on his eventful day. He didn’t look good. He skipped around issues and generally seemed “out of it” or “addled” – pick your favorite.

He began with his dream that the U.S. Supreme Court would grant him total immunity as president acting in his official capacity, without a single worry in the world. As gathered by Rawstory:

“The U.S. Supreme Court had a monumental hearing on immunity, and the immunity having to do with presidential immunity. And I think it was made clear—I hope it was made clear—that a president has to have immunity or you don’t have a president…”

No, you just cannot attack the Capitol or conspire with others to officially get around a legitimate victory to avoid such issues. No one is prosecuting Trump for bombing Iranian terrorist leader Qasem Soleimani – presidents are not supposed to assassinate a single foreign “leader” (Soleimani was an Iranian Major General at the time).

He is being prosecuted for his actions after the election.

According to Rawstory, Trump jumped issues:

According to Trump, the pro-Palestine protesters are worse than the neo-Nazis in Charlottesville. It was a “little peanut” compared to campuses today, he said.

There is a lot to be said about the pro-Palestinian protesters, but none of it has anything to do with Trump’s trials, and they aren’t comparable to the protesters in Charlottesville – which was an isolated incident.

But it wasn’t just what Trump discussed. He also looked beat – tired, though one can hardly blame him for that:

Trump did make the rather odd argument that his prosecution might bring down the U.S. presidency:

“Despite America thriving for 247 years without our presidents demanding or even claiming absolute immunity, Trump insists the nation’s survival hinges on him enjoying that power.”

This goes back to not attacking your country when you lose. No one prosecuted George H.W. Bush after a four year loss. No one went after Al Gore when he thought that he won if Florida completed its count. Do not cheat, steal, lie, and attack the nation and no one will prosecute you.

The quote of the day goes to Ron Filipkowski – noted anti-Trumper – who said that Trump looked to be about 150 years old. Given that Trump hates dogs – reason enough to question the man’s character – one could say that Trump is 150 in dog years, though that would be reversed, but you know what is meant.

He has lived 150 years in the last four:

On that, there is very little dispute. If only that were his biggest problem.
