Okay, so the headline says “TRUMP’s meme,” but of course I mean that he reposted another vile submission from one of his MAGA followers. He can’t come up with anything himself.

But he DOES pick and choose what he wants to amplify, and it’s been getting steadily worse as the presidential race goes on.

This time, just before an impromptu press conference he called at his Mar-a-Lago resort (where he proceeded to spew utter nonsense as usual), he posted a meme made by a fan.

It shows Kamala Harris as a dung beetle.

Or rather, it shows her face on the body of a dung beetle, sitting atop a coconut (since that looks like a ball of dung, I guess). She’s even in blackface, a nod to Trump’s recent declaration in front of a room full of black journalists that Kamala has only recently started claiming her black ancestry. He thinks that Harris believes it will help her in the election, as though being BLACK would help garner any votes from people who might otherwise pull the lever for him.

Dung beetles famously eat poop, and the one she’s depicted as rolls feces into balls like a traveling smorgasbord.

Some wondered if the darkening of her face was supposed to represent the dung she’d consumed as a beetle, but it’s clear from the stereotypical rapper’s gold chain hung around her neck and the furious look on her face that it’s meant to be racist.

As with most right-wing memes, it’s actually just someone else’s art, altered to make it awful. The picture comes from an actual cover of New York magazine that shows a handful of politicians and celebrities gathered around the coconut cheering on the nominee.

On the original, however, the text says “Welcome to Kamalot,”

In the altered version, the text has been changed to “Are You Buying Our Bullsh*t?”

Charlie XCX and Beyoncé are there, the former having lent the title of one of her albums, Brat, as a nickname for Harris. There’s also Chuck Schumer, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Barack Obama, George Clooney, Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, and Hakeem Jeffries completing the celebratory circle.

Racism is nothing new for either the GOP or Trump himself. He’s gone on and on about Obama’s birthplace, Elizabeth Warren’s heritage, and many others. Don’t expect him to slow down any time soon. The man is so racist, as are his team, and most of his supporters. You just know Trump is dying to use the n-word, knowing it will make his supporters love him more. You just know it.
