As if the Trump campaign could be any more of a circus, whoever the genius was that brought Hulk Hogan on board as a celebrity endorsement apparently forgot he was a total jerk.

That’s the nice description, because what Hogan — real name Terry Bollea (but that’s not scary) — really deserves is a little bit of bad language.

It was already idiotic to incorporate a man into a campaign against a black woman who is literally on video using the phrase “f*cking n***ers,” but now apparently the Hulkster thinks it’s funny to joke about beating women, too.

While he was promoting his new beer Monday night in Ohio, he went a little overboard (again, that’s me being PG-13 here), asking the crowd which signature professional wrestling move he should perform on the Vice President..

“Want me to body-slam Kamala Harris? Want me to drop the leg on Kamala,” he asked his audience as he threw beers into the crowd.

But even as the clearly pro-Trump Hulkamaniacs cheered him on, Hogan appeared just shy of remorse, saying “I’m gonna get heat for that one.” Later, he would add, “That was not me, that was the beers talking.”

Hogan himself has considered politics as a career. Back in June, he told Fox’s Ainsley Earhardt just how he would run things:

“We need somebody in there that’s got some common sense, you know what I’m saying? So if you need a president or a vice president, I’ll volunteer and take this country over, and I’ll rule with an iron fist, a flat tax, nothing but common sense. I know right from wrong, brother!”

I’m sure he’s not including that time I mentioned already, where he’s on video ranting at his own daughter for dating a black man and using racial slurs to do it.

Many Kamala supporters felt that the remarks he made last night were racist as well. In fact, this is where the language he deserves comes in — I’ll just let the tweeters do it for me. “What a piece of racist garbage,” wrote one in response to the video of Hogan at the bar. “Low life, trifling ass conduct to joke about abusing a woman,” said another.

The hits kept coming: “Racist ass.” “He seems a vile piece of sh*t.” Obviously some of the commenters had seen Hogan’s previous antics.

Hogan announced his association with the Trump campaign around the time of the RNC in Milwaukee. “Over my career, I’ve been in the ring with some of the biggest, some of the baddest dudes on the planet. Donald Trump is the toughest of them all.”

I think Andre the Giant might have something to say about that, if he was still around.
