Kimberly Guilfoyle Humiliated After Having to ‘Beg’ People to Clap After Horrible Speech in Florida
This is just awkward.
It has to already be embarrassing enough just to BE Kimberly Guilfoyle. I’m not talking about her terrible plastic surgery decisions or her opportunistic nature. I mean, it must be hard to look back at her past and see a beautiful woman with a strong career and a handsome husband, now that she wakes up next to a coked-out weirdo with a psychopathic dad and has to figure out a new way to grift.
You have to be aware of that kind of stuff, right? It’s not like she doesn’t know what she lost.
No, gave up. She didn’t lose anything, she traded what she had for the chance to get rich and famous. That’s not just awkward, it’s a crying shame. And believe me, if she starts crying, you do not want to be in the first few rows of her speech. You will be wearing her makeup.
I guess all of that is what makes it so sad and pathetic when she gives a speech these days. She’s gotten herself accustomed to the Trump lifestyle without actually being a Trump. Don Junior hasn’t married her yet. The former president barely mentions her — not the way he talks about Lara or Jared, anyway.
She really came out on the raw end of the deal when she sold her soul.

She still expects to be treated like them, though, which means she thinks wherever she goes, even people who don’t like her will clap. They HAVE to clap, right? She’s dating Donald Trump Junior, for God’s sake! Plus, they’re all Republicans, so they agree with her, right?
At her last speaking engagement, Kim found out the hard way that people like her so little, it doesn’t really matter if they agree with her. They do not feel compelled to clap for her at all.
I mean, in terms of “nobody clapped,” that would be an exaggeration. But you know how people write speeches and when they include a line they think should get thunderous applause, they put in a little pause for themselves, so people can finish clapping and not miss the next part of what they’re saying?
Of course you do. You’ve seen Obama speak. He’s the master of the applause break.
But there are only two reasons that someone gets to include those breaks: (A) They are insanely popular, and they know that the crowd’s going to go wild no matter what they say; or (B) They write such good speeches that it’s a given that people will be moved enough to show their appreciation.
Guess who doesn’t fit either of those requirements.
We ran across a video montage of Kim’s speech in front of the Florida Republican Party’s annual victory dinner, and it’s cringe-worthy. I won’t say there’s NO clapping, but you’re going to have to turn your speakers way up to catch it.
And at one point, she actually says, “You can clap for that,” giving the audience permission to fill one of her awkward pauses with something other than the sound of crickets chirping.
There’s no point in transcribing all the nonsense she said; it was exactly the same things she says every time. I guess maybe she’s part Trump, at least.
Just watch the video from MeidasTouch.com editor Ron Filipkowski, and see whether you think it’s hilarious or whether you feel bad for the fallen star.

You have to decide for yourself, but actually, the response online was mixed.
“This woman is in a very, very bad way. To be clear, I don’t personally care about her at all, but even still, some part of me wants someone to help her. This is a flashing warning light. She’s not ok. At all,” said one social media commenter.
In fact, most comments seemed to reflect the sense that she’s in the death throes of her 15 minutes of fame:
“This Is So Embarrassing!!”
“This is awful. She seems like she’s on something.”
“Is She On Drugs?”
And in a knockout blow, someone devastatingly remarked “Clapping for herself, so sad.”
It was all reminiscent of the time that former presidential candidate Jeb! Bush appeared in front of a crowd in New Hampshire and ended up begging them much the same way: “Please clap,” he woefully said (although he’d later claim it was a joke).
Bush wasn’t IN Florida, but he was FROM Florida, so maybe he was just used to the crowds there and figured he’d have to ask for applause. Heck, even Trump himself has had to rile up the crowd by beginning an ovation for him by himself.
But this is just awful.
