2024 Election

Melania Forced to Attend Charity Dinner With Trump and People Had a Field Day, ‘As Usual, She Looks MISERABLE!’

But I don't really care, do u?

At the recent Al Smith Dinner, the press was surprised to see the former First Lady, Melania Trump, in tow with her husband. She hasn’t been seen with him much lately, or even much during the whole 2024 campaign.

She looked beautiful, of course. But the one look she wasn’t sporting in the pic that has been making the rounds on social media is a smile. In fact, even Donald wasn’t smiling in the photo.

There are a million reasons the two could’ve been as dour as they are in this pic. There seems to be a pall between them. She’s looked uncomfortable out in public with him since he was president what feels like a million years ago.

Not to mention the fact that his performance at the event was dismal, to say the least. His jokes fell flat and his jabs were far more stinging than the usual fare of politicians light-heartedly poking fun at each other.

Imagine the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, but with no filthy-mouthed comedian to roast everyone. This was a family show. And this is the face of a woman who just heard her husband say something terrible about a kind and popular woman.

Undoubtedly this was snapped shortly after Trump’s speech at the dinner, where he offered the following “jokes” about his opponent:

  • “We have someone in the White House who can barely talk, barely put together two coherent sentences, who seems to have mental faculties of a child. It’s a person that has nothing going, no intelligence whatsoever. But enough about Kamala Harris.”
  • “Catholics, you’ve got to vote for me. You better remember: I’m here, and she’s not.”
  • “I used to think the Democrats were crazy for saying men have periods. But then I met Tim Walz.”

No, seriously. Did I mention it was a Catholic dinner? Because Trump did, and then he made THOSE jokes. In front of CLERGY.

Or maybe it wasn’t his terrible jokes at all. Maybe it was his shocking honesty about his arrogance and the fact that he knows he’s saying things improperly on purpose to achieve an effect.

At one point, Trump confessed that he couldn’t think of a single bad thing about himself, saying “Tradition holds that I’m supposed to tell a few self-deprecating jokes this evening. So here it goes. Nope. I’ve got nothing. There’s nothing to say.”

Then he said the quiet part out loud when he told the guests, “I always say ‘the Democrat Party,’ because it sounds worse.”

We already know why Trump was frowning in the picture. He could tell his wife was pissed. But whatever Melania’s reason was, the internet offered a menagerie of commentary.

Here’s the bottom line, though.
