Loony Laura Loomer Takes Credit for Trump’s Desire to Seize the Panama Canal, ‘I Told Him This Would Be a GREAT Idea!’

She is not subtle when she wants attention.

“Investigative journalist” Laura Loomer still isn’t over how Donald Trump is ignoring her now that she’s become a thorn in his side. One day she was on his plane with him, and the next she was kicked to the curb after the rest of America found out what a horrible, hateful person she is in real life.

But now, Trump’s done something seemingly unrelated to her, and she’s taking credit for giving him the idea. And since she posted about it all the way back in February — when she was still in his good graces — it could be that she’s right.

After Trump posted his ridiculous threat to take back the Panama Canal, she was quick to jump into the news cycle and claim that she planted the idea back then after she took a trip to the Central American country.

Delving further into her trip to Panama, she apparently arrived there on February 16 of this year, and immediately began looking for reasons to be angry at the country and its people.

When President Trump gets back into office, he should take back the Panama Canal.

This would be a huge way to stop the flow of illegal aliens into the United States and also protect the US economy from CCP hostility.

The Panama Canal Treaty of 1977 has a clause that allows the US to take back control of the canal at any time if there is an “imminent threat” posed to the US or the canal staying open.

China’s aggressive positioning in the Canal poses an imminent threat to the US, especially since China is facilitating illegal immigration into the US via the Darien Gap.

Her theory is that “military age men” from China are illegally invading the United States by sneaking through the jungles of Panama after arriving there by ship, and traveling north all the way through Central America, up to the US–Mexico Border, and into our country.

She doesn’t state a reason why “military age men” from a sovereign country with a thriving economy like China would try to illegally immigrate to America, but she’s sure they’re doing it.

Also, apparently Laura spent almost no time in Panama and immediately found out where the Trump campaign was in the middle of the Republican primary and went there right when she got back, if she told him in February. Presuming she stayed there for a week, she had exactly six days to unpack, get a little sleep in her sarcophagus, and track down Daddy Trump so she could lay her brilliant Panama plan on him.

OR, Trump wants to take the Panama Canal back because he’s got a hard-on for invading, seizing, buying, or otherwise annexing all kinds of stuff. He’s literally talking about Greenland again, only seriously this time. He’s been constantly on about making Canada the 51st state, and in the last few days, his team has been discussing how much of Mexico to “soft invade” so he can superhero the drug cartels to death.

Gosh, I wonder if Co-President Elon Musk ever uses global shipping lanes like the Panama Canal…

I guess that could be a reason Trump might take back the Panama Canal, Laura. Maybe it had nothing to do with you and you just thought it did because your ego is nearly as big as Trump’s and Musk’s.

Ooh, or there’s just plain old revenge, too. Donnie likes revenge. If there were something that Donald Trump wanted to get revenge for in Panama, that would totally make him want to seize the one good thing about the country by pretending that there’s some “imminent threat” that justifies taking back the canal.

Yep, I think that would do it too.

In a legal filing Monday in an ongoing lawsuit in Manhattan federal court, private equity manager Orestes Fintiklis and the company he leads, Ithaca Capital Partners, claimed that two Trump companies failed to pay Panamanian taxes equal to 12.5% of the management fees they drew from the hotel.

The Trump entities were allegedly supposed to withhold those fees in advance and pay them to the government regardless of whether the property was profitable or not. Instead, the Trump companies simply kept the money, the suit claims, “thus intentionally evading taxes.” That and other financial irregularities exposed Fintiklis and the companies he represents “to millions of dollars in liability,” according to the suit, which also claims Trump companies sought to cover up their actions. The filing does not say whether a tax penalty has been levied by Panamanian authorities.

Anyway, I think it’s time to move on, Laura. He’s just not that into you anymore.
