Donald Trump regularly posts crazy stuff on social media, as everyone knows. But he only has his meltdowns when something has gone horribly wrong, and it’s usually something that we, the public, don’t find out went wrong until later.

For example, he’ll post about a specific person he wants in a specific role working for him, and he’ll bring up some accusation you’ve never heard of and begin defending them against it immediately. That without fail means he found out they did do the thing that the public is about to find out they were accused of.

It’s called telegraphing your punches, and you’ve seen countless 80s movies with bad guys who get defeated by doing that.

First on Trump’s multi-course social media misery menu is the looming finalization of his felony convictions. I can’t tell you how many people I’ve debated with online (I know, don’t feed the trolls, but come on) who are convinced that you can’t call Trump a “convicted felon” until after he’s sentenced.

That logic is idiotic, because sentencing follows the conviction, but even if it were true, in four days, they’ll all have to shut up about that. Their Dear Leader will have a new official first-in-his-class title: The only president to take office with felony convictions on his permanent record.

It actually started on Saturday with this gem:

There has never been a President who was so evilly and illegally treated as I. Corrupt Democrat judges and prosecutors have gone against a political opponent of a President, ME, at levels of injustice never seen before. Corrupt judges, or judges so blinded by their hatred of me and my political ideology to “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN,” are making a mockery of the United States Judicial System, and the World is watching in disgust. Deranged Jack Smith, the evil and sinister prosecutor appointed by Crooked Joe Biden to “take me down,” was found to be illegally appointed by a CORRUPT DOJ and FBI, and all of his many charges against me were dropped or dismissed. His illegal raid of my home, Mar-a-Lago, will go down as one of the “dirtiest tricks” ever perpetrated by one candidate, a dumb as a rock, Sleepy Joe Biden, on another. With all of this said, I still have confidence that the Appellate Courts will bring JUSTICE TO AMERICA!!!

Right out of the gate, you can tell he’s just seething as he dictates this message to Natalie Harp, or whoever’s ear he’s screaming in. Like every one of his “truths” (the Truth Social version of “tweets”), he writes like a 7th-grader whose friend told him the more adjectives you use, the better the teacher likes it. And as usual, every word of it, including “and,” “to,” and “the,” is completely wrong.

He did, however, clearly state that he still intends to fight through the appeals courts, and his lawyers literally just filed to try and halt the January 10th sentencing, so he’s desperate to keep these felonies off his record, despite the judge indicating there would be essentially no punishment.

But when he fired up his big boy computer yesterday, he proved that he was just getting started on Saturday.

D.A. Alvin Bragg never wanted to bring this lawless case against me. He was furious at the way it was handled, and especially angry at MARK POMERANTZ for his behavior, and what he did. Ultimately, the Biden/Harris DOJ forced Bragg to concoct anything to embarrass TRUMP. But it was even more so what the CORRUPT and TOTALLY CONFLICTED POLITICAL HACK Judge did, and is doing, on this sham trial. I even have, STILL, an Unconstitutional Gag Order where I am not allowed to speak about the Judge’s highly disqualifying Conflicts of Interest. Virtually ever legal scholar and pundit says THERE IS NO (ZERO!) CASE AGAINST ME. The Judge fabricated the facts, and the law, no different than the other New York Judicial and Prosecutorial Witch Hunts. That’s why businesses are fleeing New York, taking with them millions of jobs, and BILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN TAXES. The legal system is broken, and businesses can’t take a chance in getting caught up in this quicksand. IT’S ALL RIGGED, in this case against a political opponent, ME!!!

Like all the times Trump claimed he knew how Joe Biden “really” felt about Kamala Harris, or any of the other people he’s tried to make statements about like that, Trump has no idea what he’s talking about. He just peppers the message with things that you might have peripherally heard of, then assigns them more meaning, like they explain everything.

Also, I don’t quite understand how he doesn’t know how stupid he sounds when he says the judge entered a ruling where he’s not allowed to do the exact thing he’s doing: “I even have, STILL, an Unconstitutional Gag Order where I am not allowed to speak about the Judge’s highly disqualifying Conflicts of Interest.”

Of course, the next logical thing to talk about after all that crazypants mumbo-jumbo is taxes on tips and tariffs, neither of which he understands in the slightest, even after all this time.

Members of Congress are getting to work on one powerful Bill that will bring our Country back, and make it greater than ever before. We must Secure our Border, Unleash American Energy, and Renew the Trump Tax Cuts, which were the largest in History, but we will make it even better – NO TAX ON TIPS. IT WILL ALL BE MADE UP WITH TARIFFS, AND MUCH MORE, FROM COUNTRIES THAT HAVE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF THE U.S. FOR YEARS. Republicans must unite, and quickly deliver these Historic Victories for the American People. Get smart, tough, and send the Bill to my desk to sign as soon as possible. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

Does he mean the border that’s seen greater apprehensions than at any time in history? Is he talking about becoming even MORE of the world’s largest exporter of gas? We already know exactly who his tax cuts will benefit — I’ve taken you over the specifics before. Everyone who makes up to $360,000 a year will pay more in taxes, and everyone who makes more than that will pay less.

More importantly how are tariffs and taxes on tips even related? This is worse than him confusing a “windfall” tax with windmills in the UK’s North Sea. And again, you narcoleptic fart factory: Other countries do not pay tariffs you impose. American companies pay them, and prices go up. I can’t imagine how many more times you need that explained.

I personally think all of his freakouts are coming from the felony convictions. He knows that even with a conditional discharge, the case could be brought back if he’s ever rearrested for anything, and that his convictions can be used against him in the Georgia election interference case, which totally has not gone away.

America is in for a very dumb four years, unless someone does the improbable — nay, the unthinkable — and invokes section 3 of the 14th Amendment today, which constitutionally bars Trump from taking office, since he participated in an insurrection.

Otherwise, this kook is about to be certified as the guy who’s about to be sentenced and then about to be President.
